This place was so good. You’d never from the outside think it was so quaint and nice inside. It’s located on the beach, basically. It’s hard to get reservations, so call a week or so in advance! They also charge a fee now per person if you don’t cancel within 24 hours and don’t show up. $30 per plate. In the meanwhile, don’t cancel and go enjoy the most delicious food!! Yum!! I’d go again in a heartbeat if I lived close enough. A bit pricey but so worth it..

Came with friends. Not much views and we ate outside. The staff was great, and the food was amazing. We loved our appetizers and drinks. It’s like its attached to a hotel. It’s good to bring kids and not to dressy.

Took my husband for our first visit to Chef Mike’s on his birthday & it was delicious! It’s a Sunday in March so it wasn’t busy & we got seated right away. The only down side was on the way there the hostess called 2x in a row & we were only 5 mins late. By doing so she ruined the surprise where I was taking my husband, so it was a little disappointing. They should at least wait 10-15 mins, especially bc you give them your credit card to book a reservation & if you don’t show they charge a $30 fee.

Food, drinks and appetizers were excellent. Highly recommend the grilled octopus and whipped ricotta appetizers. The olive oil they use was incredibly flavorful, and the combinations they put together with the food are both interesting and delicious. Reservations are definitely recommend, unless you are trying to sit at the bar. Even in that case, arrive early as there was a line forming for just the bar before they opened at 5. Can’t wait to come back and try a different dish!

Walking in we noticed it was very dirty. The floors were crying out for a good power wash. The place is old and dirty. We had a reservation for outside, the area we were seated in appeared to be a makeshift dining area, there was a old bar equipment covered in tarps behind us and what really was the straw that broke the camels back was industrial LOUD fan that was blowing directly at us. They said they could not turn it off when we asked. There was zero view of the water, we assumed we would have at least some view. They have a policy where they charge if you don’t show up/take a credit card to hold the reservation…..for this weak table we had I cannot believe they have the audacity to issue a no show fee or even require a CC. Food was nothing great, the appetizers we had were alright (peanut shrimp and crab cake) but the entree was not good. We had horseradish crusted Chilean sea bass however it was basically fish fried in funnel cake batter….to think someone would destroy a good piece of fish like this is sad. It was sweet batter….in my opinion this was BAD. This place is also not cheap yet they use plastic cups for water and they look at you funny if you ask for fresh silverware with your entree. Sorry but for $45 for an entree I expect a real glass and fresh silver wear with my entree. Lastly the service was very slow, the party next to us sat down about 20 min after us yet they got their entree before us. Things like this are not easy to let slide when everything else already was pretty weak. I really can’t say anything good about it and I’m not trying to be harsh.

I’m probably going to catch some heat on this going against popular opinion. Best crab cakes I’ve ever had. Four scallop dinner needed 2 more. NOISE LEVEL IS 10 DECIBELS BEYOND COMFORTABLE. NO PROPER TABLE CONVERSION. EVERYONE MUST YELL TO BE HEARD. SO THEY ADD A PIANO PLAYER. VERY UNCOMFORTABLE. FOOD IS VERY GOOD. Experience was very aggravating. Will not return.

I’ve heard great things about this place, and I was excited to finally get there. Maybe I caught them on an off day, but my experience was mediocre at best. We ordered a drink and a water. It took about 15 minutes to get the drink and our server completely forgot about the water. We waited over 45 minutes to get a very small serving of guacamole with chips and at least an hour to get a salad. To end on a bit more of a positive note, enjoyed the beachy feel and fun music!

Our meals looked fabulous! Staff was great, fodd was good except that 2 of the 4 scallops needed 2 more minutes on the stove. They were cold on the inside, great sear just cold. $45 for the meal….we did let the server know. They were willing to re-fire a new set but we already waited 30 min for this. Overall it was good, my wife’s steak was perfect, the corn risotto was great.
