A nice country style buffet with good home cooking and a wait staff who are attentive without being intrusive. My family and I went for the all-you-can-eat shrimp special and had a good time. Don’t let the outside fool you – it’s an excellent place to chow down on some comfort food and get some great eats. A locally known culinary treasure, Angie’s gets busy on the weekends, so if you prefer a less crowded atmosphere – and want easier parking (both the parking lot & restaurant are small) – either show up early or on a weekday evening for a special treat to enjoy.

The food was OK. For $60 their definitely should be more options on the buffet. I was surprised you have to pay extra for side items like baked potatoes. Our servers were friendly however

I wanted so badly to love this place, but it just didn’t happen. After an hour and a half drive, I probably won’t go out of my way to be back. Food wasn’t awful, but it wasn’t amazing. The best thing on the buffet is the steamed shrimp. The cooked quail was hard and old, salad bar was average and the waitress never came to check on us after she brought our drinks. Now I understand with a buffet you don’t have to do much waiting on tables, but at least bring one drink refill. Also, having just one option for kids would be helpful. One pizza or some chicken strips. Just a little something.

Normally we get good service here, but last Saturday night we were dissatisfied. Our waitress forgot to bring my husband his crab legs, but asked the people beside us if they needed more. We arrived there about 5:30 p.m. and the buffet area was empty on most items. Yes there were a good bit of people there, but they opened at 5:00 p.m., so if you don’t mind waiting wait, because the food was hot and good once they replenished the buffet.

Truthfully……the only buffet that I have ever eaten off of that every item was fresh and so hot it had to cool on my plate before I could eat it! The seafood buffet was absolutely great! Great service and definitely a hidden gem that we will make it back to again!

Definitely worth the drive. Don’t even comprehend how they have such fresh tasting crab legs so far inland, but they do. The salad bar/ buffet was excellent, for seafood lovers. There is a full menu with steaks & burgers, etc… for those not seafood inclined. Service was top notch.

That was the worst service I’ve ever had in my life. The food was ok but I live in Florida the seafood is so much better there. We couldn’t get refills or tartar sauce, part of the table got food after waiting an hour (at the table) and the others waited another 15 for their food. That was hard because the one and two years old were really hungry. It was my birthday and they were supposed to bring dessert and it never came. A minute after the last food came the server was trying to hand out checks. The bathrooms are tiny and have no locks. This place is so not worth the long drive to get there.

First off a lot of people love this restaurant. The restaurant is usually packed. The seafood looked good, however I ordered the steak. I ordered my steak medium but it came out medium rare or rare. The person with me ordered medium well and it also was medium rare. The steak was the worst steak I have ever had in my life. The steak was so bad I actually considered never eating steak again (and I love steak). I should have selected the buffet because everyone seemed very impressed with it. I think they should just be a seafood restaurant and just take steak off the sign. The salad was good. The peach cobbler was good but not so special I need the recipe.

Had a fabulous lunch! Ordered the two choice seafood, shrimp and scallops. Way more than I could eat! Very large portions and comes with salad bar.
