Great local spot! I’ve been coming here and it’s always consistent. Good service and really cool sushi rolls! Decent prices too.

Kenta is my favorite “hiding” sushi restaurant. Since discovering it by accident while looking for parking, I have been to Kenta in the last year a dozen or more times. For the price, it’s EVERYTHING that I love about sushi. The sushi & Bento boxes 7.5/10. The price is my primary focus & they are willing to add cucumber to rolls when requested.

Great hole in the wall for yummy sushi rolls and Japanese entrees! We went on a Saturday night around 6pm and grabbed one of the free tables. I thoroughly enjoyed my spicy salmon roll, takoyaki, and salmon sushi, my toddler loved the yakisoba and the special roll, Manhattan roll, was really delicious. I was expecting an okay experience (the outside looks pretty dark, needs repair) but the food was great! Everything was fresh and made quickly. Rolls had nicely flavored rice and wasn’t covered with too much sauce. I was surprised by how quick everyone was with one chef in the kitchen and one waitress! I’ll definitely stop by again for my next sushi craving!

Oof. I can confirm that everything about this place is sticky… the table top and the sushi alike. Fruit flies everywhere.

There’s plenty of Sushi spots on Bell Blvd let alone take out places but the reason why this one stands out is because of the pricing and the variety on the menu. From fun snack-y appetizers to ramen to sushi and sashimi entrees. Rolls galore and with catchy names! The interior looks like a great Japanese style watering hole (they have the drinks to match) and ramen bar. There’s even Yakitori on the menu. Lunch/Dinner on a budget, check. Food to feed the entire family, check. Drink sake with my sushi, check. Just a good value overall.

The beef teriyaki was a disappointment. The meat was too tough and not chewable.

Ok. After reading all the reviews I went to this place. I don’t know if it was a bad day or the people leaving reviews don’t know good sushi. After ordering we waited about 30 min for the 1st dish to arrive which was the wrong item. Keep in mind there was only 2 tables to serve including me. Theres was only 1 person working the kitchen. 2nd person came in after 45 min of us waiting. Finally the food started coming out. The quality of the sushi was the worst I ever had. The salmon was kinda ok but the tuna almost made me puke. The presanttation was a warning. (Dont mind the noodles on the sushi plate. Thats from a separate dish) I had better sushi from supermarket. After that the right noodle dish showed up. That looked very good and tasted very good. If I had the noodles only I probably would’ve given a 4-5 stars but the sushi was really bad. I eat sushi about 2-3 times a month so I know a thing or 2 about good sushi. The staff was friendly. I will give them the benefit of doubt and say the main chef showed up late.

I’ve eaten in the restaurant three times now and have not found the service to be slow. The people here have always been very pleasant and friendly. I think they’re Korean.
