We had a small group celebrate my birthday here on a Thursday! It was a pleasant surprise to hear they have live piano music every Thursday!! We had some fancy (read delicious) cocktails and some yummy appies! My husband had some troubles booking the reservation on his phone, and they comped us the appies! Stand up place! The shrimp and grits, brisket wrapped scallops and smoked fried chicken were a hit at the table. The date cake and feta ice cream was an unusual dessert, but it was delicious! Fast, fun, and friendly service all night long. We’ll come back.

Great brunch and cool ambiance. The champagne drinks were great and I enjoyed the vegan offerings. The biscuits were well-made. We loved it so much we went two days in a row!

Art Deco meets Southern food. Very bright, lots of Windows and sun. The feel was Art Deco, I ordered a Prosecco and it was served in a vintage style champagne glasses which is a hit for me. The pimento cheese appetizer and scallop hush puppy appetizer were fantastic. We shared their “known for” dish which was the whole fried chicken with honey drizzle. Chicken was moist! It came with biscuits which were large, dense and salty but I’m a salt fan. The menu is small which actually makes choosing much easier. The prices were fair. It does get loud (because it’s busy) they could space out the tables a bit better. I was sitting on a chair with my back to the aisle and people kept bumping into me and knocked my purse off my chair 3 times. Overall I would recommend

Went here for a family dinner. Loved the live piano music. Cocktails and wine were both delicious. We ordered the full fried chicken to split between 4 people and it was plenty of food. Waitstaff was friendly and helpful in advising on what to order.

What a relief to come to this bright cheery and friendly restaurant … after leaving a dark desolate restaurant around the corner who could only accommodate a vegan with a cold salad on a winter afternoon. But Modine has a fabulous vegan dish that I recommended to all my friends. Seitan “chicken” biscuit. Yum! With hash brown my non-vegan friend helped me eat. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Will be back!

Good food but not exactly down home Southern. Pretty atmosphere though and very wonderful place to have weekend brunch. Prices for brunch very good too and $4 mimosas and champagne cocktails. Free beignets too. Go and get your shrimp and grits on,

Where do I start. So my friend and I walked in as they were opening. So everyone was just getting their bearings. But I must say for the price point I wasn’t at all impressed. Not only with the lack of flavor and seasoning it was only swimming in oil. But the portions weren’t up to par at all for the price !!!. I definitely wouldn’t go here again nor would I recommend it to anyone. Only thing that was good was the service.

Very good dinner here tonight. Let me just say the smoked fried chicken and the bisuits with honey drizzle were freaking awesome. Really super elevated southern country food here.

Brunch menu was small but the food was good. Could improve the portions for the price but it’s not out of the ordinary for the area. Really enjoyed the atmosphere.

Sour cream and onion and home made fresh cut waffle fries. Sour cream had some honey drizzled over the top or maybe oil or truffle oil. Sour creak has fried onion pieces in sour cream. And fresh scallion pieces to top it off. Wife lived it. I’m not big chips guy, but that sour cream would be good on anything.
