We had a catered event that we had to put together in a hurry. Far (owners son) was very accommodating and assured us that the food would be delivered hot and fresh and on time. True to his word everything was perfect. He gave us peace of mind during a time of stress. When you have over 100 people to feed and the catering comes through we can only say, thank you so much! We highly recommend this restaurant to everyone especially due to the integrity of the owners.

I’ve been in Clayton for about 2 yrs now and I have to say out of all the pizza I have had. This bar far is the best. This will be my goto spot. My first time going but want be my last. The pizza was perfect in every way. So cheesy with that mozzarella, fresh ingredients. I’m hooked, it’s a must try!

Good Stromboli to be completely honest the food is fairly good. Not NY pizza ….The biggest complaint that I would have is the speed and time of service from placing an order until receiving food!!! This seems to be an ongoing issue that management in ownership should fix! But overall good food!

Initially when a friend and I came to this establishment to dine-in and we thought the service was going to be excellent with our initial interaction with the young man who took our order. Boy were we WRONG!!! I ordered a baked ziti and I asked if breadsticks were including and I was told yes. My friend ordered a Philly sandwich with chips. It took 35-40 mins for me to receive my baked ziti after my friend went and asked why was it taking so long after she had already received her sandwich. Other customers had come in with orders after us and received their orders before I received mine. When I finally received my pasta it was lukewarm (like it had been sitting out for awhile) and there were no breadstick(s) in which we were informed that they were currently making those. At that point we just requested a refund because the service was horrible. As we were getting our refund we were asked “How was the food” instead of being asked what was our issue or complaint. Also while we were getting in the car we noticed that employees were loading up food into their cars since our wait time pretty much coincided with them closing. Maybe they were so focused on themselves that they forgot that they had customers that were dining in. Could this have been a reason for the horrible service that we received? All I know that was my 1st and last time visiting this establishment.

So incredibly disappointing we were stopping for a quick bite to eat they advertise gluten-free. I asked the person taking my order if the fries were gluten-free and she called a manager to check and they said yes, but when they arrived, they clearly were not. The majority of the tables in the entire restaurant were dirty, and had not been cleaned off. The person at the counter helping us was super nice but allergies are not something to play around with.

We went here after months of deliberating and finally we had out of town guests so it was a no brainer. The menu was extensive so everyone got some different and added a pizza. The tab was $167 and NOT one thing was good. NOT ONE THING! There wasn’t enough cheese and toppings to even cover the entire pizza. I mean LITERALLY there were plenty of spots with just sauce. Do not order from this restaurant through a delivery service!!! as a delivery driver, I waited almost an hour for two orders and watched the employees take walk in orders, who got their food before the six delivery drivers that were sitting there waiting did. One of my customers called to ask what the wait was after speaking with me, and the restaurant told them that I was waiting on multiple orders – which was true – however, the customer’s order hadn’t even been started yet. When I approached the counter to address the issue, the older woman working told me that their system had crashed because of the weather, and they got the orders late. So they should have been honest with the delivery drivers waiting, as well as the customer who called and asked. But instead they chose to blame the delivery driver and company. Extremely poor communication and unprofessionalism!!

Ohhhhh man, the food here is absolutely INCREDIBLE! Everything is prepped fresh daily, and you can definitely tell. My fiance and I decided to check La Cucina out at the recommendation of my coworker, and we will absolutely be coming back a LOT! They offer catering, too, which will absolutely come in handy for the wedding next year.

Do not waste your money here! Not an authentic Italian restaurant- Penne Vodka, Chicken Alfredo and chicken parmasean were absolutely awful. The “marinara” tasted like a jarred tomato sauce. And not sure about the quality of the chicken either- tasted like a McChicken..
