Great food and friendly staff. My only complaint would be the boiled shrimp. To me, they had a bit of an off taste. I’m not sure if it’s a refrigeration issue or something in the seasoning, but that’s okay. I didn’t come for the boiled shrimp. I would still give it a solid 5 stars. I will definitely be back again

This hidden gem is worth the time and/or drive. We arrived just after they opened on Sunday. There is a long hall for the times when they are busy. You pay as you enter (military and senior discounts). The buffet starts immediately. Lots of southern fried choices. A very reasonable price for the quality and amount of the food. The dining area was clean and spacious. Keep in mind there is a line waiting for their delicious cinnamon rolls.

Very good food, yet somewhat limited options.

Walk down to try it out while the fixed a tire at the Loves down the street. Was pleasantly surprised. Tried a little of everything: green beans, coleslaw, boiled shrimp, fried shrimp, baked beans and the fried catfish. Everything had a very nice flavor and was very fresh except some of the boiled shrimp which were soft and unappetizing. At 17.99 per person before taxes seemed a bit expensive to me. Would definitely recommend trying if you are around.

Place real clean. But there are flys around and I bet on the buffet. Catchfish fillet to salty and lack of actual seasoned flavor, chicken tenders not bad juicy no real flavor. Fried chicken to greasy. Soup was very good. Grean beanie nice and simple just how I like them. Steak cat fish was perfect had two pieces flavor on point a was fluffy and juicy. Coleslaw good. Hush puppies very good too good. Tried the hunny bun or cinnamon bun if I had to categorize it a delicious fluffy baked roll lack of cinnamon but I ate it all.

The food was bland, overcooked, and just plain bad. Catfish filets were thin and mostly breading along with the fried shrimp. The country style ribs were filled with gristle and tough. The corn on the cob must have sat in the water for a long time because it tasted like canned corn somehow. Everything fried tasted like it was all just fried in the same oil; catfish, okra, chicken, shrimp, etc. The buffet was out of several things even after checking multiple times. No one ever came around to grab dirty plates. The dessert area looked like a tornado went through it. I would not go back.

I must say the food was excellent. Being a OTR I have seen and dined at most tasteless artery blocking eateries the roads have to offer.

Good place to pile a plate high and over indulge until your arteries begin to clog, or you have to be wheeled outside, too full to walk.

All of the food was hot and seasoned perfectly. Large selection of food and that was wonderful. Can’t wait to eat there again.
