The Cheese and Chicken Empanadas were my favorite!!! The customer service good. I thought it was a small place but it’s very spacious has 3 sections and ice cream! I didn’t try the ice cream this time but will back

One of the best Mexican food finds in Portland. Especially their chicken panuchos are to die for. Will be coming here more frequently and inviting more people! Their salsas are also amazing and worth trying all of them. Highly recommend this place!

51$ for all of this and just not worth it I thought maybe the sizes would be more sense they are alittle bit more expensive but 51$ for two meals and some sides of rice and beans is ridiculous. Can go to Don paid Rose pay the same amount that I just did and get two times more food. The enchilada plate was the only thing that is actually a good size and decent meal. The rolled tacos that wouldn’t even fill up my child.

Ordered taquitos. They were only okay. The atmosphere is “hole in the wall,” in the best of ways. Prices are fair and it’s fortunate to have two Yucatan restaurants so close to one another.

One of the best taquerias in Portland city limits. Small place, freshly made (to order), and nice homey atmosphere inside of the restaurant. Try the panuchos, one of the best Mexican dishes I’ve ever had. Great, quick service as well.

My family loves good burritos. And our best burritos tend to be found in little places that thanks to the internet we can now find. We were on the east side of Portland and needed lunch. And we lucked out! (And wish this spot were closer to home.) We had the carnet asada burrito, the veggie burrito, and two beans and cheese burritos. They were all top notch. High quality meat, tons of veggies and flavor in the veggie and all four were big and piping hot. If you love a good burrito and are looking for a gem of a taqueria, I would recommend Taqueria La Mestizas. It’s a little spot, but the service was fast and quality, the employee was kind and nice.

Would not eat their burrito again. Beans tasted like warmed up Rosarita’s. Sauce on carnitas was weirdly tangy and didn’t fit well. The tortilla felt like an over-sized mission tortilla that barely held it’s shape. Cheese was overly abundant and tasted like generic bagged shredded cheddar. Apparently they have great authentic Yucatan food options like Panuchos and Huaraches, but if we’re talking burritos, this highly missed the mark.

Only been once but it was yummy. Staff is very nice and recommends Salbute and tacos. I tried the $9.50 Huarache which was delicious. They’ve got a spicy habanero hot sauce to add to any meal that’s actually hot. Decent prices, five booths, tucked off of 82nd Ave. fresh chips for salsa! Small drink selection and use plastic cutlery that can break easily but those are the only critiques I’ve got if this place. Stop on by, I know I’ll be back.
