Amazing food and service. Came here on a Saturday morning with a group of 5. We ordered at the counter then took our seats. Food came out quickly and tasted fresh. My wife and I shared the avocado breakfast sandwich, corn chowder (special of the day), and a buttermilk pancake. The pancake was fluffy and we really enjoyed cinnamon butter. Corn chowder was smoky and tasty. The sandwich was excellent too. The potatoes that came on the side with the sandwich were too salty, so next time I’ll ask them to hold the salt. Would love to come back. Highly recommended.

This place is so good!! Everything is made to order and is absolutely delicious. The slim hammie is my go to (the sauce is amazing). My second pick is the Maurice salad! The staff is very friendly. This is a great place to visit for breakfast or lunch. Watch the hours! They are not open on Monday or Tuesday. I have never had a bad meal here.

Food is fresh and hot. Tables, and a nice window counter if you are getting lunch on your own, too. CAME BACK on a Sunday with my wife. I HAD THE BEST POACHED EGGS i have had from a restaurant of any kind. The Avacado Eggs Benedict were quite delicacies. The cook takes pride in his craft in both how good your plate looks and how good it tastes. The different sauces in their dishes never overwhelmed the items I tried so far. PICS of avocado Benedict and huevos rancheros as I got them. Excellent.

First time here and it won’t be our last. We had the breakfast burrito and the Tex Mex and they were great. The chorizo is very good and has the right amount of kick.

Great little place Downtown Mount Clemens. I had the Southern Fried Chicken and eggs which was phenomenal; the country gravy and cheddar jalapeño toast were so flavorful. My daughter had the Tex-mex breakfast bowl, hubby had corned beef hash and egg, son-in-law had biscuits and gravy. They all loved the food. It’s a bit on the pricey side ($57) for breakfast but I understand that they are a small local business and they need to survive. I will definitely be visiting again.

I literally love Mae’s so much! The food is always amazing and I absolutely love the atmosphere. Every time I’m stop by they are so kind and welcoming. They always give great recommendations to try something new. Jody is literally the best i’ve only been in a handful of times, but she remembers me by name and is always so pleasant. I think everyone should stop by if you have the chance!!!

The sweetest little breakfast spot, with a couple of outdoor tables, and a lovely staff. Everything is delicious, but the potatoes are not to be missed!

Absolutely , We had a big group of six and they were able to accommodate us. The eggs were made exactly how they were ordered and the omelet was filled with beautiful large pieces of Ham. The bread was a delicious and toasty artisan and the bacon was wonderfully cooked. The Biscuits and gravy had a bit of a spicy kick to them, which I loved but some people may not.

Could this be the best breakfast in the Macomb/Mt. Clemens area? Very well could be! Food was delicious and fresh, served quickly, and so filling. The service was above and beyond which really stood out. I’m sad this is only our first time. We will definitely be back!
