What an absolute delight to stop at on a long drive. Non fussy cooking that won’t break your bank. The shrimp are right out of the lake you see. The view is incredible and all natural. The stuffed flounder and broiled flounder dishes were sizable and filling and not lacking in flavor at all. The hush puppies were divine. This is comfort food 100%. The staff were professional, pleasant, and courteous. I would highly recommend anyone in the area to make this your stop on your travels.

Awesome service, Awesome food in a great setting. Lake from. Salad bar was awesome. Lunch special was salmon patties with 2 sides. At a great price. Ioved the hush puppies, we made a great choice for Lunch. Definitely a much u check it out.

One of my favorite places in the world! I grew up going here all the time with my family and I took my now husband there for our first date! Food is great and I don’t even like seafood! The view of the lake is gorgeous! The staff are very friendly! My cousin Rebecca worked there for years! My grandparents had their first kiss at the lake and so did me and my husband so this place is very very special to us and we come as often as we can! Highly highly recommend!

First time eating at this place and will admit I don’t know what the hype is. I came with some family while in the area. They said its was the best thing since sliced bread. Maybe because the people from this area haven’t had better so this all they know. The food was extremely salty. I had to use cocktail sauce to cut the salt taste because I couldn’t even eat the fried shrimp plain. I thought when I ordered the meal it came with a baked potato. Not fries. So I didn’t eat the fries. The steak was okay. I ordered rare. Didn’t seem rare, but maybe because it’s a thin steak they couldn’t get it the way I prefer. The free fried hushpuppies were good. And the salad bar was decent. I don’t know if I would say the meal is worth $27. The tea I didn’t order, but took because the waiter forgot my water was very sweet. If you like super sweet tea you’ll like theirs. I hope you enjoy your meal here when you come, because I didn’t.

You’ll never go wrong with a location like this. Right on the lake with that old fish camp vibe right from the start. The hushpuppies were perfect, mine, and the wife’s sea food crispy and fresh. Their cocktail sauce was like none I’ve tried before and delicious. The included salad was extra nice and a great value. Probably never be back in the area and went there because of their reviews. Can’t go wrong if your in the area.
