After moving here to Tyler two weeks ago, we hadn’t found a restaurant that we’d want to come to on a regular basis. Until now. Oliveto’s had a nice menu selection (and not just the usual Italian dishes). I had Rigatoni Rustica and my wife had Chicken Scallopini. Both were well prepared and very tasty. Portion size left us asking for to-go boxes. We will be back again.

This place was delicious. The service was excellent even at an odd time and there were several other tables occupied. I ordered a spinach dip and Shrimp Limone which was so good. I would definitely recommend going there. There were also several gluten friendly options.

Today, my husband took me on a surprise date to Tyler from Shreveport, Louisiana. Eating at this restaurant was a blessing AND a curse. Now I have to live my life knowing that the best Italian restaurant is a TWO hour drive away!

I have loved Oliveto’s food for many years. Recently myself and my coworkers ate lunch at Olivetos and I was shocked at the change in the portion size!! If your order off the lunch menu, the half sandwich and side salad/pasta, expect to receive a kid size portion while still paying full price. It’s shocking how small the portions were for the whole table! Our waiter was amazing and felt our frustration. New owner, bad business decision for consumer quality. I won’t be back until I know things have changed.
