Wife and I ordered food to go. She ordered the Cashew Nut with 0 out of 10 for the spice level. Got home and they didn’t give my wife any rice for her dish and they made it spicy. Called the restaurant, the lady who picked up the phone either didn’t care or didn’t believe me regarding how the meal was made. This place definitely needs better Customer Service.

Atmosphere is nice and bright with good brunch vibes. Service was accommodating and professional. But the food was bad. The chicken satay had nice spice flavor but it was super greasy and kinda soggy. The fried rice had good texture but tasted fishy when it was supposed to be chicken. It’s possoble they didn’t clean the pan between meals.

I know Thai food and this is the best I’ve had. We had fried rice, Tom Yum with noodles and garlic pepper rib eye steak. Excellent. Had no room for the mango dessert so we will be back soon.

It’s like finding small glittery token of magic and wonder while wading in a roadside puddle. A complete surprise! And talk about convenient? For those of us who are getting old and have more visits to Kaiser than we wold like to admit or keep, have a great little Thai place within walking distance. Run in and pickup your copious meds and then trot over to I Am Thai and reward yourself for being old and still waking up in the morning. Yes, I know, a good place for young people, but who cares about them.

I’ve loved this place for over a year, but I went yesterday and ordered their red curry to go because I was in a hurry. I did not tip because I wasn’t going to be eating there. I went next door to goodwill to kill some time and when I came back to pick it up, the hostess asked how she can help me and I told her I was just there to pick up my order. She looked me up and down and said, “oh the huge order?” I told her no it was just the curry. She had it right next to her and handed it to me. I thought her question was odd along with her looking me up and down and it felt like a jab because I didn’t tip. When I was eating the leftovers today, there was a metal staple in my food. It was in my mouth when I noticed it. It was so alarming. It seems like she could have put it there because I didn’t tip because of the vibes I picked up when I was there. I called to tell them and the woman on the phone told me she would tell everyone in the kitchen to be careful and didn’t offer me anything. Even though I’ve loved their food, I don’t feel comfortable going back after this.

I am a notoriously picky eater and my significant other is more adventurous. Usually I avoid Thai food, but this place is amazing! There is plenty for both of us and I’ve even found myself trying (and loving!) things outside of my comfort zone. Whenever we have ate in, service has been great and it’s a quieter place to grab a bite. Absolutely in love with this place!

It’s very nice and they check in on you to make sure the food is good and to your liking. Very thoughtful, also food is in decent portions and very nice. Drinks are refreshing during the summer weather. It’s also very nice on the inside and well decorated

The “Lemongrass” of Vancouver? Of course, no one can beat Shelly. But my wife and I loved this place. Food: 5/excellent. Service: 5/quick and friendly for its price tier. For those who are sound sensitive, the chairs/benches make a lot of noise when moved. Comfort level is a 3. Male Bathroom was a 1/unkept and grimey. The BR door could use a good scrubbing. My wife said female bathroom was okay/3.
