First time been there, surprised by the quality of food. Fresh fish and high quality sushi rice, it is not traditional Japanese sushi, chief definitely using creative ideas to make new style Japanese food, all the dishes are delicious, will go again for sure.

First time we were here, we were blown away so we decided to come back again the next month. Now I’ve probably been back about 7x. Every piece is curated to perfection. You won’t need a drop of soy sauce in your Omakase experience. There were other sushi restaurants that used to be our favorite but I want to say, Aiko has become our #1 sushi spot in Houston. Consistency, customer experience, quality/innovation in their menu is why Aiko stands above from other sushi restaurants in Houston. There hasn’t been a visit we didn’t feel treated like family here. From the manager, Joe, to the friendly sushi chefs behind the bar, everyone makes an effort to make your experience special. If you haven’t tried this place, please do, you’re missing out!

It’s some the freshest japanese food outside Japan. Even their shiso leaves and julienne daikon is crisp and perfect.

As a frequent diner, highly recommend Aiko for quantity sushi. I normally sit at the bar to experience better, you should do the same. You may BYOB but only if they don’t have what you want. I just wish they have more variety of wine selection. Overall, amazing!

This place has a cool and edgy vibe! Good to entertain guests who come in from out of town. Fish is also fresh, however portion size is small and the slices are cut pretty thin. Makes for a really expensive dinner date night! If you sit at the bar like we did, the “chef” is usually the one taking your order, and ours in particular didn’t explain the menu or offer suggestions/recommendations on what to get or try. Kind of disappointing for such a $$$ place. Parking is complimentary valet.

Probably my favorite omakase in town. The flavor of the dishes were great and I love a good omakase that includes generous amounts of bluefin tuna. The service is pretty good as well. I came intending to try the regular 10 course omakase but there was a more extravagant one going on that I opted for. Not sure if it’s seasonal or a mainstay offering going forward but it was great.

Liked it. Service was good. Decor pleasant and prices were reasonable. Only reason for 4 stars is that my socks were not totally knocked off and I’m trying to be more specific in my reviewing. But consider this a 4.7 or something

Top notch service with amazing flavors. Our server was incredible and put together a great menu for us to taste all the great flavors Aiko has to offer. Typically, these types of experiences cost a fortune but this was great value for great flavors and quality.

One of the best food experienced we’ve had in a while. Still seems like a lowkey spot, but this place has the highest quality of food and very friendly staff. Great vibes as well.

Food is good, handroll are the best value. Crude plates are good buy pretty small, the restaurant is pretty and clean. Best part of the decoration is the restroom. I saw like 3 girls posting. Highly recommend
