We had the Slopper, Veggie and Classic – the Slopper was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had! According to the owner, you can also find the sauce somewhere in Pueblo, so will have to go find it..

I got the 1/2 pound cheese burger with onion rings. The owner claimed it as the best burger in the county, well I haven’t had others in the county but it was a great burger. And the red sauce I got to put on it was great, it ha a little zing, but just enough to add interest. The onion rings were cooked just right. I was very satisfied. Would recommend stopping here.

Great stop while doing both sides of Dinosaur National Monument! Kids had the hot dog and chili dog (they loved!) and we had the cheeseburgers. Soooo well flavored and loved the toppings bar for all the toppings! Fries were great. But the onions rings were my favorite. Our waitress was extremely nice and took such great care of us. One of the best stops we had on this month long road trip!

There was one waitress here that was good. But…. The 2 people in the kitchen, right at the Barton basically. We’re arguing making for a really uncomfortable situation. The person who took our order couldn’t remember who got what. The vibe here was just way off. Not sure why they had to microwave my green chili cheese fries, but they were the worst I’ve ever had. It’s like 1 of 2 places to eat coming through the area. You’d think they could do better

I have no idea how this place has so many good reviews. I walked in this place with my boyfriend and every single person turned from the bar and stared at us awkwardly and the bartender didn’t greet or even look at us. We walked towards a table and the bartender angrily yelled at us saying she just called last call, (6:50pm) and that they were leaving early to go do something. It’s clearly a locals spot with bad political views. It was the only option close by, so had to drive all the way somewhere else after driving all day… weirdest experience

Stopped in for lunch and a brew. 2 PBR’s and 2 cheeseburgers were a great lunch after brisk hike in Dinosaur National Monument. Friendly service and even a quarter toss made out of Crown Royal bags. Quarter in the bottle gets a free shot…

Slopper, Slopper, Slopper! If you stop here to eat, and you like open faced pork green chili burgers, don’t bother spending your time looking at the menu. Just say, “Give me that Slopper!”
