Solid to-go Soul food in East Point. Everything wholesome and rich, been eating here for lunch for a few months and is always solid.

Consistently delicious! Home cooked and everything is from scratch. Seasonal vegetables are always in rotation! Love the atmosphere! Feels like coming home & being greeted by family every time !

You just never know who may come into your restaurant. Today I happen to stop by Q’s in East Point Ga. Now everyone that knows me know I do anything to assist the elderly. The customer only wanted beef meat with rice on the side. It is understandable that you would charge for each item separately, so she advise her that it’s better to get the dinner and the lady agreed. Now that the lady is still not understand I stepped in to assist. I’m am trying to explain to the line worker what she is asking for now that she’s buying the dinner and all she kept saying is it comes that way and this is what she ask for. Then the owner of the restaurant says that’s right it comes that way. Ok Q go back to the beginning and start over. Maybe you need to understand the community that you are serving. I for myself DO NOT eat rice. If I am buying a meal and I say to you, please put the rice on the side. I have a reason for saying that. The best response from you should have been. Yes. I can put the rice on the side and not under the meat. What if. Just what if she was told not to ever eat rice, but your response is. It comes like that. You also need to ask your Mexican cookers to add seasoning to the food. It has no flavor. The chicken is dry with no seasoning the corn bread is overcook and OMG the vegetables are horrible.

The service was about the only good thing here, besides the coke machine, both of the workers were very friendly. However, this soul food place had no soul. Everything was very bland and over-salted. The rib tips were inedible. The Mac and cheese was alright, but not the best. And the other sides I got, okra and yams, were pretty much flavorless. Tastes straight outta the can, honestly. Probably won’t eat here again, but if I see the reviews getting better I might, because it’s nearby.

Turkey wings, rice and okra were delicious ( mama was a lil stingy with my gravy)– but the cornbread muffin was great! I usually won’t eat restaurant cornbread because it’s always dry and gross…but BABEE I inhaled that muffin.

Cafeteria style soul food with no soul or seasoning other than excess salt. Country fried steak swimming in unappetizing brown gravy, flavorless Mac and cheese, yams out of a can, saltiest rib tips I’ve ever had, corn muffin was dry and flavorless. Disappointing

I patronize this restaurant often for the past few years. I love the food just missed the breakfast part please bring it back soon. The service normally 4 give or take the whole 5star but this day the tall guy up front with the glasses have major attitude and he shouldn’t work in the front of the house. I’m not saying lay the red carpet out but still should have a better attitude serving guests.

Service and soul food is always superb. Worth the trip via vehicle or East Point Marta train station…they’re directly across from Bank of America and a really short walk from East Point Marta train station.
