My son surprised me with a Popeye’s chicken sandwich and I was ecstatic until I pulled it from the bag and looked like it got smashed a couple times. But I took one bite and clearly the lunch crew doesn’t care what they just served me. It tastes overcooked and breading of the chicken was hard as a brick. The last time I ate here was like 4 months ago and it was the first time I ate here and it was a memorable sandwich and this sandwich below was horrible and I’m on a fixed income. The next I’ll ask for a loaf of bread and mayo and I’ll make my own wish sandwich

If I can give 0 stars I would, went to Pooler Popeyes yesterday and ordered a chicken sandwich meal and when I got home to eat it 2 bites were taken out of it. Do you know how gross that is?! Even if it was a mistake how could management allow the employees to just eat in the kitchen where the food is prepared?!!! That’s nasty! I know complaining on here won’t solve anything because it never do but Popeyes just lost a loyal customer. My hard earned money wasted!!!!

The customer service was horrible through the drive through. They rushed us as we ordered. Didn’t greet with a good morning. They forgot items in our order and then waited until after we paid to tell us they didn’t have the condiments we wanted. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced in the South. The food was hot and average testing. I guess southern hospitality doesn’t apply here. We not be back.

Went to the newly built Popeyes located on Us US-80 around 8:40pm. Waited in line for about 30 minutes. Once we ordered our food it came out instantly as if precooked. The order was simple, a 3-pc chicken combo (the only sides they had were red beans & rice/fries) w/ a frozen lemonade (said they ran out of that as well so we had to order water) and a Chicken sandwich. Also ran out of Sierra Mist as a side note but as our food came out I realized the top of my sandwich bun was burnt and hard as rock but the bottom bun was soggy as a sponge so I walked back to the drive-thru to get another sandwich. The employee handed me another sandwich and it was the EXACT SAME as the one he had given me prior. Very poor customer service and very poor representation of the food you are selling and it’s not right that people have to pay for service that awful.

Not only did I sit in drive thru almost 45 mins, once I got my order and got home with it, the chicken was super greasy and undercooked. I also asked for spicy mixed chicken but got legs and thighs only that were mild. I threw away most of the meal so I wanted $35. This store is slow and terrible at the job they have! Management needs to do better!!!

Food is good. Their butterfly shrimp are very good. This location is very busy. It’s actually small for it’s volume. Make sure that you check your receipt and order…..this isn’t a knock on the crew. It’s an undersized store with a massive volume…they do what they can.

My first time at a Popeye’s and it will be my last. Granted I don’t eat fast food often, and usually get my fried chicken from real restaurants, but everything was closed on a Monday, and we had a craving. I cannot believe I paid $28 for 16 pieces of flavorless chicken. No sides or anything! Will not be back. No pics because I was not inspired. However, the workers were super sweet and efficient. It’s not their fault the spice formula and the way it is fried is bad.
