Walking in it was quite but peaceful vibe. Sat down, very big menu and many options. Started with a honeydew bobba and OMG is was so good. I ordered gyoza and eggrole combo. Very good gyoza literally the best I’ve had in tacoma egg rolls were good but waant aa much flavor as id hoped for . Then I order the raw beef and brisket phó , it wa s a very large portion broth / juice was absolutely so savory and good. Warms the soul. Overall rating 9.5/10

Really like the Pho and Bubble tea here. The broth tasted a little watery and could have had a little more flavor, but all in all, I would recommend. I will be going back for sure!!!

Food wasn’t bad. I asked for extra sauce on both of my sandwiches and both came out dry. Found that kind of odd. Family members soup was ok and happy they had zucchini noodles option. They let me try some and it was okay at best. Seriously service was so bad I didn’t want to tip them at all. Was in the area the next day came back again giving them a second try (I never do this normally). Food was worse the next day. Not going to drive my out of my way to eat here.

Pho 38th is conveniently located on 38th Street by the Tacoma Mall. It’s on my way to and from the fishing trips at local lakes. So, my five-star rating is based on some of the food I had, which is the combination of pho and beef stew. They put lots of meat in a silver bowl for you.

Absolutely best pho in tacoma and lakewood. The food is consitent and always good fresh amd piping hot! The service is fantastic and the prices vety rrasonable. Always recommend this place!

It’s a very convenient location for me, and their broth that used to taste like meds have gotten better now, hence the two stars. However the taste is still not up to par with other places, also sometimes very hard to communicate with some of the staff over the phone. I also have doubts about the cleanliness of their kitchen if they are not able to pay attention to details: Not sure how it’s possible to not see this bug in the soup while pouring the soup in the container nor while closing the container??! How. Definitely not a pleasant surprise.

Their Pho is delicious that alone would get them a 5/5. Great service as well. I had to give it a 4/5 because anytime I try to venture out and try one of their other dishes they have been a total miss. They have been lacking flavor and very slimy. The pho never misses tho.

So disappointed by the food. Beef & broccoli was soupy in sauce. Yakisoba was so wet. The stir fried wide rice noodles aren’t wide and SO wet/greasy.
