Food was pretty good, salad and mushroom soup were really good. The lighting could use improvement and some low music to drown out others would of been nice. We over heard the entire conversation of the couple next to us. Staff was really nice though!! We’ll probably go back and try the breakfast menu… it looked really good.

I love all the staff. They are polite and really get to know you. Our waitress always made us feel welcome every time we ate there. The food was always delicious and their gyro was better than the one I had from a Greek restaurant at the shrimp festival.

I absolutely loved this place. Portions were huge, and it wasn’t just quantity over quality, because it was excellence in abundance. The chicken Alfredo was better than many Italian restaurants I’ve been to, and the jalapeño Wisconsin fried cheese curds were to die for. Their menu is huge, so there’s plenty of options to please just about everybody.

Don’t expect a carry out order to be convenient. I stopped by a shop on the way just to make sure it’d be ready when I got there. They told me 20 minutes so I took 30 minutes getting there. Upon arrival they hadn’t even started cooking the order and had to ask me what exactly the order was. Public buffet is just north of them in robertsdale and has great food ready at any given time.

There were three of us, we ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger w/fries, the Shrimp Salad, and I ordered the Gyro with onion rings. Was told a few mins later they were out of gyro sauce, so I ordered the Spinach Eggs Benedict instead. Food was served quickly, everyone enjoyed their meal–the hollandaise sauce on my eggs was more bland than expected (more tang, please), and the tomatoes were sadly missing, but we were starving and I didn’t want to wait any longer just so I could have my tomatoes. Except for minor issues the food was great (my hash browns were perfectly extra crispy btw) and we were impressed with their very attentive staff–always kept drinks filled, made sure to check on us, and the waitress and (I assume) the manager? Owner? Were professional but very nice. Definitely recommend

Good by diner standards, but the quality has slipped a little since they opened a second location in Gulf Shores. Great country fried steak, soups. Pasta dishes and sweet tea are not so good.

Two visits: On the first I had the fried chicken, which was very moist and tender, mashed potatoes and gravy, a salad, and drink. The plates are simple and substantial white china, made for real food, whish this definitely is. Second visit was a bacon cheeseburger and fries, definitely a cut above fast-food status, although the fries could have been hand-cut for more individuality. The servers were knowledgable, polite, and friendly. The chicken does take extra time, but the leftovers were still great the next day.

We keep giving this place a chance and each time it’s just as disappointing as the last. Ran out of hollandaise sauce so I didn’t get my Benedict that I was craving. Hash browns were burnt. Toast cold. Serving staff and management walked and talked like robots. No personality. Will not go back again!

Worst experience we have ever had …. Food was horrible service was even worse server acted like it was her first day on the job. Didn’t get some of the food we requested . We could bear the music from the kitchen on top of the loud music playing in the dining area . Will not go back !!!!!!!!
