As always, clean and very friendly staff is a bonus, but here it is the norm. It’s a little pricey but well worth it for an amazing burger and seasoned fries to die for. Milk shakes here are good but not worth the cost very thin down a not very bold of flavor. But it’s not a milkshake place. Burgers and Fries.

The assistant manager is so kind! My card wasn’t working how I needed to and was taking forever to approve a cash transfer I had made, and the assistant manager could tell I was struggling… she paid for my meal. I try to offer to send her the money since she paid for me but she declined my offer. Some people in this world as so kind, and for no particular reason. That’s what makes the world go round.

Love this place. They have allergen free options and protocols for preparing special foods. I got the lettuce wrapped burger and it was truly awesome. Very few fast food places have GF or Dairy free options but 5 Guys does.

I had heard quite a bit about the famous Five Guys French fries. There was a TikTok video of a Five Guy employee showing how they prepared fries that garnered a lot of views and positive comments. So when driving to Roanoke on the day before Thanksgiving and (you guessed it) spending hours in traffic, when we saw a Five Guys sign we decided to check out their fries.

Extremely overpriced! $20 for one burger and a regular fry is absolutely scandalous. Cookout has a much better burger for a much better price. I definitely will not be returning. Price gouging at it’s best. Yes, I’m upset! I’m thinking about calling the news and better business bureau to have someone investigate this, something’s not right here! BOYCOTT!!

The staff here are AMAZING … in a world where customer service is dead, I was treated SO well here that I would come back even if the burgers weren’t delish (and the fries)! They were all upbeat, positive, and helpful. There was adequate staffing so no one was stretched thin or stressed out, and did I mention the TASTY BURGER?

The French fries are fantastic, but not sure the hamburger was worth $10. It tasted good, but I wouldn’t say it was any different than any other fast food restaurant. For two people, the tab was $37, which seems high. I don’t know if I’d visit again.
