We had dinner here and it was a great ambiance, not too overcrowded but pretty loud. So if you are eating with older people or people you are trying to have a conversation with it might be difficult! Would be fun for date nights though! The pasta here and charcuterie boards are amazing. The pasta is so fresh and delicious!

We were recommended to try Chrysalis by a very drink-savvy friend who knew we were on a journey to find the perfect Negroni. Well, we found it and much more. We thought we would just swing by the bar but it was full and the restaurant was happily busy and festive. The General Manager was so attentive to our plight and managed to get us a table instead. It was such a fun evening and experience! Needless to say, we ordered dinner, too. The steak flatbread and chicken pesto with fettuccine was so fresh and absolutely delicious. And now to the Negroni that started our adventure… Ben blew us away. It was complex and incredible. He educated us with the history of the drink and you could see that the entire staff was so knowledgeable. Everyone made our evening special. We can’t wait to bring our entire crew back for an evening here. Thank you to Andrew, Ben, Felicia and everyone at Chrysalis Modern Italian for a fantastic experience.

This is my second time eating here. It’s clear that this food is above most (if not all) other restaurants in the area. The drinks are tasty and beautiful and so is the decor. The bartender (BEN) is always pleasant and I sit with him at the bar every time. I’m not sure who said the food is the same as “Olive Garden” or all other chain restaurants BUT that’s absolutely false lol. THAT food tastes like it was dumped on the pan from pre made cans. THIS food was made with love, attentiveness and sealed with the chefs kiss.

Modern Italian in middle TN?! Yes, please! This place was a hit! Hadn’t planned to go, but luckily I was sort of in the area and I finally got to check this one off my list. I was by myself so I wasn’t able to order nearly as much stuff as normal when I’m with others. I like to order one of everything . Sharing and trying a lot of items is more fun! I can’t wait to return with a few others so we can check out the entire menu!
