Best bagel and coffee I had in 10 days in Alaska. It’s incredibly difficult to find a healthy meal in Alaska. This is the place. The veggies on the bagel were super fresh. Made to order. Coffee was fresh ground and brewed. Service top notch. A+++

What a blast! The Sunsprout Cafe is a very good Cafe with a lot of vegetarian and even vegan food options. I tried the simple Cream Cheese Bagel and the Veggie Wrap and it was amazing. Very sweet and friendly service. When you are in Fairbanks definitely gibe it a try.

Awesome spot for coffee, breakfast sandwich, or lunch. Cute grocery store with nice cafe and seating upstairs. The bagel sandwiches are good in the morning and the chicken sandwich or soup is delicious for lunch. They’re hard workers over there.

Was there a week ago and had the sunny rainbow vegan sandwich and oh my god I’ve never had something so veg tastic. I think the persons name who helped me was Gabe, very friendly individual. Also had no idea of all the veg friendly options they have upstairs there.

It’s a nice cafe on the second floor of the building, and they also sell some healthier options of groceries (e.g., salt, cans, cookies). The food was pretty good, and the staff was very friendly. It might be on the slightly pricier side, but considering all the fresh veggies and good ingredients, it’s definitely a hidden gem.

Sunsprouts Café was my go-to for breakfast/lunch when I was staying at Billie’s Hostel off of College Rd. The food is healthy, fresh, and affordable. So many creative coffee & tea drinks to choose from, plus a great staff- everyone was so nice. The cafe was not open in the evening, but they are conveniently located above Sunshine Health Foods if you need to pick up some healthy food or snacks. Sunshine Health Foods has a huge inventory of food, and healthcare products- perfect for travelers who want healthy options in Alaska.

The sunny rainbow sandwich was very difficult to eat. I basically had to eat it like a salad, but it was good and probably the most healthiest thing I have ate since I moved here. It came with a broccoli salad for an extra 2 bucks which was well worth it. I got a chaga tea which I always wanted to try, but it was very tiny. Anyways everything I got was good and the staff were super cool. It looks like a quiet hipster type place. I will definetly be coming back here a lot and get some reading done while I enjoy my food and tea.

This truly is a hidden gem. The bottom floor is health foods and always has a delightful smell of essential oils and teas. The top floor is my favorite part, a café with an outdoor patio. The food surpassed my expectations in every way— I got a masterfully prepared veggie wrap and a Irish fog latte and both were excellent. The staff on both floors are inviting and kind. It is a health food store so of course items are going to be pricier, but the atmosphere is so lovely I just keep coming back.
