Amazing omakase! Felt so exclusive. Four seater restaurant in a hotel. Its kind of unusual to get into the restaurant but can’t spoil this for you. Make sure to make a reservation and prepay before going. The experience was unbelievable and definitely high end. The sake special and cocktails were amazing. The sushi chef was friendly, knew how to make everything in proper care, and was entertaining. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Perfect for date night!

Everything was fantastic. This restaurant was recommended by Amanda from Sushi by BOU. Had such a great time there I asked for her recommendation and she recommended me Suite1001. It seem like an interesting concept and boy was I surprised. The entrance to a private hotel room that is renovated exclusively for 4 people. The decor was gorgeous and made the ambiance really nice to be in. We took out a friend for his bday and we were all impressed. Each piece of sushi was delicious and it gets better after every piece. The sake they recommended was great. El Chapo did such a good job prepping our sushi and had such a pleasant personality. Our host was Mikey who was awesome as well. He gave us complimentary birthday shots and the bday boy got his own sushi cake! Definitely recommend family and friends and if I have the chance I’ll definitely be back!

Great intimate experience with the chef! They have an amazing terrace dos hombres terrace where you get the view of the empire state building. The chairs are extremely comfortable! You definitely want to lounge and have a drink, or two! Great cocktails and beverage options. If you’re celebrating in the intimate space, or entertaining clients, they have high end bottles of sake and champagne. Cheers to the suite life.

This was one of the best Omakase Sushi meals we have ever had. From the setting, to the service, the staff, the sushi chef to the quality of the food. There was nothing that was not way above and beyond every other restaurant experience we have had. At one point one of my companions (70 ears old), who has eaten in some of the finest restaurants in the world, looked at us and said that bite was life altering. I could not have said it better myself. This is not an inexpensive outing but it is worth every penny.

Amazing culinary experience. I hadn’t heard of this before I booked but after reading the reviews, we decided to go for it. The food didn’t disappoint. Every omakase bite was better than the one before. Kin, the chef was amazing too. A couple of things held me back from the 5th star. Firstly, the entire17 course experience in 60 minutes felt rushed. You’re paying $300 + extras + drinks ($425 total on the night) in 60 minutes is too fast. You don’t get a chance to relax and really savor it. A similar experience at Ginza Onodera (way more expensive) lasted over 2.5 hours for instance. The second thing is there’s no desert option. You end the night on a great piece for fish, and it’s done. All in all though, the sushi is worth it. It’s amazing, and that goes a long way. Check out the pictures.

I cannot emphasize enough how much of a journey and experience it was to dine at Sushi Suite 1001! We arrived a little early, and were greeted by the front desk at the ground floor. When our time came, we were given a key card that would open the suite door on the 10th floor. The door is hard to miss, it’s right in front of the elevator door!

Sushi Suite 1001 in NYC offers the best omakase experience in the city, hands down. From the moment you step into this Sushi by Bou establishment, you know you’re in for a treat. The omakase menu is an absolute delight, featuring an array of carefully crafted sushi creations that are both visually stunning and incredibly satisfying.

Excellent sushi at lightning speed. The 17 courses take an odd 50 minutes to get through, with a few minutes buffer between guests for a couple extra pieces. I thought it was great for eating solo, but with a party of 2 or more it might cut the banter short.

Amazing food and experience. The sushi was delicious and the fish tasted so fresh. My husband did the sake flight and I did their yuzu cocktail, both were great. Can’t recommend this place more and excited to come back again.
