Absolutely amazing experience! All of the food was incredibly delicious. Each course was stunning in its own right, and just the right amount. 7 courses over a 2 hour period. We definitely left full, but not at all the typical stuffed to the point of sickness overfull. It truly was a once in a lifetime experience!

We had an amazing experience at the 7 course dinner on Saturday evening! This is not an experience for a “snobby” foodie, rather it is an experience for an open mind, hungry belly, and good conversation. The atmosphere wasn’t upscale, but the friendliness was amazing. The chef was in the lobby to greet us as we walked in and he came out halfway through our meal to talk to each table. I loved the food as well. Everything was homemade and tasty. Our 7 course meal consisted of :

Just stopped in today (2-27-21), and bought 6 pastries. Having already tried all of them, I can tell you everything here tastes great. Very nice to my wife and baby while we were in there. Will be back!

Delicious. My husband stops here frequently for pastries in the morning. We’ve dined in on many occasions and the food is authentic and pleasing to the palate. You can’t go wrong with any meal choice you make. I love their omelettes. I have never seen them duplicated and they are absolutely delicious! I saw another reviewer upset about timeliness. I’m so sorry they had the experience they did, I know that they recently hired a new staff member, so I’m not sure if that was the reason, but give ‘em another chance. Chef Roland and his wife are pure gold- sweet as can be and always smiling. They’ve always gone above and beyond in service, so if you ever do have a concern, I’m confident they’ll take care of it promptly. It is out in the country, so keep in mind, it’s not as hustle and bustle as Springfield.

I went there for the first time Saturday April 24th, I got there at 9:30 and of course it was busy and the homie vibe and yummy smells was wonderful. They were packed but got me and my daughters pastry order quickly and explained every detail about every pastry that we had. Needless to say I wish I had ordered more and cannot wait to go back!

Not good. We were seated immediately & she took our drink order. 3 men came in & were seated & she promptly took their order. A couple of minutes later she took ours. The 3 men got their food in about 8 minutes. About 12 minutes later a single customer was seated & ordered. Then 2 ladies came in & ordered. The single customer got his food. We’ve been here over 30 minutes now. About 15 minutes after the 2 ladies came in they got their food. Still no food for us. We found this unacceptable that 3 tables after us – ordered & were served before us. There were only 4 of us & 6 people were served before us. I was so excited to share this restaurant with my friends. 45 minutes after sitting we got up & left. And we won’t be back.

The food was wonderful: simple ingredients masterfully prepared and combined. The atmosphere is cozy, almost casual. Kids are right at home for the delicious breakfast, but the prix fixe, 7 course dinner makes you want a dinner jacket and a grown up companion who can appreciate the subtlety as much as you do. I can only hope the tradition continues.

We’ve lived in the Springfield area for almost 10 years and this was our first visit. The food is indescribably good! My wife ordered the Ham and Cheese Omelette while I had the Chicken Dubois. Both were delicious! I’ve never had chicken that tender before and I’ve been to a lot of restaurants. Of course we had to try some pastries too. We got a chocolate croissant and mixed fruit tart before our meals came out, but couldn’t resist getting a fresh fruit tart afterwards. Everything was amazing and worth the short trip out of town. We plan on working our way through the menu as I trust that everything will be great!
