It’s hard to believe, but there’s something new here which presents less taste than the pizza: they’re asking for tips at the point of checkout. At a buffet which costs $15 per adult, asking for tips is over the top and I’m thinking that I can eat bad food at other places without that insult. The salad bar and chicken are really decent. The pizza is not good at all.

The chicken in the buffet wasn’t completely cooked. Cost $50 for 2 kids and myself to eat pizza and salad. We wanted chicken. They should have reimbursed me but didn’t even offer.

We went in there for a family diner and everyone we walked by was complaining about no one picking up plates, no new food coming out, people not getting there pizzas they ordered after a hour of waiting. Did not bring dessert pizza out almost the whole time we were there till right before we left. One of my kids got sick after eating there. The guy at the front door that took our money was prolly the most pleasant employee we came across there..

I just visited the updated Pizza Ranch in Carroll. Not updated that much in décor or cleanliness. Thought it might be better having enough out to eat, but while I was there they never added to the pizza. Never had the Sicilian pizza as the special, ran out of dessert. Back to the old problems. You need to visit the one in Maryville MO. Its superb. The one in Missouri Valley is small but keeps the buffet filled.

I was visiting from Arizona, absolutely loved the buffet!! Best broasted chicken ever!! Couldn’t even compare it to anything in Arizona!! Will be back whenever I get back to Iowa. Soup and salad very fresh!! Super friendly hostess, assistant manager, sorry couldn’t remember her name from Lansbore??My folks are very elderly and it’s their favorite place to eat out every time– my dad will eat 5 pieces of chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy,that’s all he wants,!!
