Gave this place a shot cause it looked good in other Google reviews photos. It arrived and looked very good. However, it smelled and tasted like they greased the pizza pan (or the dough itself) with week-old deep fryer grease. Killed it for me. It was so wretched I ended up eating only the toppings & cheese (which were great as was the sauce) and pitched the entire crust of an entire 16 cut Sicilian and large regular pie (a $40+ order). Couldn’t even eat the crust it was so bad. Don’t know if it was just a bad night (ordered around 7:30pm and they didn’t close til 10 or 11 that night) or what. I kind of want to give them a second chance someday because I liked the sauce, cheese & toppings but I don’t know. I just don’t know.

After a 12 hr construction shift downtown, I arrived and asked one of the kitchen workers standing outside on the sidewalk if they had anything already made (pizza bt the slice, sandwiches, etc). She acted like I was bothering her at a family gathering, snarkily said “um, no we don’t” then pointed me to the store entrance to go look at the menu for myself as if my first time visit there was a hassle.

I ordered from GrubHub to try because we like the bakery part. We got a Sicilian with extra cheese and mozzarella sticks. First off, the driver texted me and said that they didn’t get my order and was waiting for 40 minutes.

Such a waste of my time and mostly my money, I ordered a steak calzone and it had next to NONE of steak it a whole lot of ricotta cheese and vegetables I am so disappointed and mad if u can’t supply people with the right amount of ingredients in the meal they choose don’t sell it at all if ur picking and choosing who u serve best too, ur not the place for me either way I won’t be back. After working hard all day and spending my hard earned money on a meal for me and my child to eat and get served as such is not cool. This place is horribly robbing people without a gun

I was not sure exactly how many stars to give Chubby’s I chose to give them four stars because most of the time their food is excellent. But if the owner’s husband is there and he is cooking the food is definitely lacking. Not that the food is bad but is definitely not as good as if they’re normal cooks are making the pizzas. Most of the staff is very nice and very polite but the owners are not very personable. They always seem to be in a bad mood. Not that we have had any issues with them, that’s just the impression we get. And we are there quite often. Not that their shortcomings prevent me from going there, I feel that it is something that needed to be mentioned. Overall experience in Chubby’s has been positive, thus the 4-star rating. By the way they’re hot wing sauce is a joke. But I really do love their pizza, and after you buy 10 large pizzas you get a free one. And free is always good! Oh and my wife swears by their salads and cheese cake bites…AMAZING!!!!

Rodeo burger was pretty good. Fries were fresh cut but needed fried longer. Pizza was just ok. Ranch was made in house but pretty watery. Ranch was also 75 cents. Good Ranch is worth 50 cents. Watery ranch at 75 cents means I won’t order again. Sorry.
