If I could give negative stars I would. I have been to this restaurant twice and both times the mother/cashier has been extremely rude. Her attitude implies that the customer is a bother and an inconvenience by ordering from their restaurant. Rather than asking if I had placed an order, the mother was quick to refuse service because they were about to close. When I expressed my complaint about her attitude on both experiences the mother was nasty, rude, and even flipped me the bird. Her children ran to the front with concern for me – the customer however, the mom was ill-mannered, yelling, and disrespectful. By the look on her kids face – it was evident that it was not the first time customers have complained about the mothers poor attitude and lack of customer service etiquette. Good food, unfortunately terrible service. Owning a business does not make you entitled to treat others terribly.

An Eldorado neighborhood sandwich shop with an interesting menu and ample portions.Seating for 8 indoors on stools and ample outdoor seating. We ordered the Gyro, shaved lamb and beef shawarma on a pita smothered with a delicious greek yogurt cucumber dill sauce and the BBQ Sandwich, roasted pork with a sweet BBQ sauce on house-made focaccia. Both were filling and tasty. The shop is busy but well run with a steady flow of take-out customers. We were there on a Tuesday at noon and the order took 13 minutes. With sandwiches, two drinks and a big bag of fries the bill came to $27 without tip. We’d go back. We would like to try the Tuna Melt or the Greek Feast.

My family and I went to this El Dorado restaraunt today for the first time to have lunch there, I had a mushroom burger with grilled onions and swiss cheese. My son had a Gyro sandwich and my wife had the Cubano sandwich. Everything was so great tasting. It’s located just outside Santa Fe, Excellent choice. Highly recommend to everyone to go out and try.

Unfriendly uninspired atmosphere with very limited menu. mainly for takeout. I had the gyro which was average although the meat was pretty dry. Canned drinks only.

First time here and I ordered Cubano sandwich. It was a larger portion than I have expected. They were very generous with the ingredients specifically the meat. Very tasty and satisfying. Some complain that the sandwiches were greasy. I do agree that it was a bit more greasy than I would have preferred. But sometimes it’s part of the experience. I will go back there to try other items.

I live in florida and had the cubano here. The roast pork in the sandwich is the real deal. The Burger has nice crispy edges on the patty. Nice surprise for a rural area.

The menu is limited but there are vegan options. One reviewer said the fries are soggy. I found that to be the case with the hand cut fries, but the crispy fries are indeed crispy. I try to stick to plant based options but have had several of the sandwiches and the flavor and portions are great. My one and only complaint is the crazy amount of grease dripping off the sandwiches. The paper to go bags are soaked through with grease, the aluminum foil, wax wrap and finally the bread itself are all slimy with grease. If you squeeze the bread, grease will just run out of the bread. This was even the case on the tuna melt so it’s not coming from the meat because that was the suspicion when I had the cubano. I just assumed it was fatty meat and cheese grease but the bread on the tuna melt exudes the same amount of grease and arrives in grease soaked packaging. Takes a little away from my enjoyment of the sandwich a bit fighting the grease puddles, but again, the flavor is wonderful. The attached photo is a napkin wrapped around the half sandwich I just finished to keep it from running down my arm. That was after patting it down with paper towels to soak up what was on the surface

Carmelita’s makes and I might add, a delicious burger and fries and it’s worth every nickel spent there. They are a delightful, talented food-wise crew and cannot recommend them highly enough.

A great amount of meat at this place. Though they do have two salads. Very nice people working here. The food was fresh and tasty. My friend had the Cubano and enjoyed it immensely. I had the tuna melt. There was enough tuna on here for more than 2 sandwiches. It was quite tasty. Next time I am in this neighborhood I shall have to try a salad.
