Absolutely delicious! Be sure to try the brisket, smackaroni (mac and cheese), and beans. This is the type of place where you will want to come back daily because the food is so good. Everything tastes phenomenal and you can’t even tell the food is vegan.

My first time and I am impressed!!! I really enjoyed the chiken wings and smackalicous Mac n cheese… The potatoe salad was good too, just not the way I typically like it (I don’t like potatoe skin in my salad)… The spaghetti was sweet and I am NOT going to offend my Italian heritage (I’m half Italian in my mind cause I love pasta) by eating sweet spaghetti, so it didn’t eat it, but someone who likes sweet spaghetti will love it! The wings were a really good vegan wing that mimicked the real thing and the crust and sauce were just the right touch… The service was friendly and they answered all of my questions… There is SO MUCH On the menu I want to try, I will be back!

The food was delicious!! I travel to Oakland for work and I finally made it a point to make it to Vegan Mob. I had fried chicken with mac, baked beans and candied yams. The sides were out of this world. I can’t wait to come back and try something else!

We just ordered a large plate of spicy chicken and my wife found a RAZOR BLADE in the potato salad, we are vegan mob’s regulars and besides the long waits we haven’t had a problem with our food before. This time we Doordarsh our meals and there it was a razor blade in the potatoe salad!!!, if you order from this place becareful, we are never ordering from this place again, we called the number listed on this page and the call automatically drops, we just report it to doordash, this is just outrageous, we are so lucky we were eating in our living room where there’s plenty of light that’s how my wife was able to spot it, a shiny metal object in our food!! That’s insane!! just to think about all the times we bought food from this place and ate it seating at the lake where is dark gives me the shivers, gladly nobody got hurt but why is it a razor blade in the potatoe salad in the first place? Is that what they use to peel potatoes with? Disgruntled employee trying to hurt costumers? Whether this was an accident or not we are filling a serious complaint about this incident.

Order the Mac and cheese, it’s so creamy, some of the best I’ve had! We ordered ribs, brisket and chicken on the large combo plate ($25); when they gave us the food they told us they were out of brisket, so they gave us extra ribs. The ribs were supposed to be spicy but tasted more ketchup-like, we didn’t really care for them; they tasted better cold the next day. The ribs were also shredded texture, which seemed more like brisket so we wondered if there was a mix up and they were out of ribs, not brisket. The chicken had great flavour, it was greasy but since it’s fried chicken that’s to be expected. The portion of chicken was less than they give of the other meat. We had potato salad as well which was flavourful but nowhere as good as the Mac and cheese. Individually the portions were small but altogether it was a good deal of food. There is no indoor seating, the music is loud but goes with the atmosphere.

If I could eat the food at Vegan Mob everyday, I would have no trouble being a vegan. It’s amazing how it’s all vegan! The shrimp in the po boy tasted like shrimp, the spaghetti and yams were delicious. The peach mobbler and sweet potato pie were unbelievable! Definitely get whatever fresca of the day they have as well. It’ll surely quench your thirst!

The gods honest truth I couldn’t believe this was actually vegan. Oakland should label this spot a landmark. Hands down the best vegan food in the Bay. I had the mac and cheese egg rolls stuffed with candy yams then the combo plate with beans, ribs. The high light of my day. Can’t wait to go back
