They made their menu electronic and more flashy but the food quality went down. I remember loving this place when I first tried it but they are just microwaving the lamb shank to heat it up, which I didn’t mind too much as long as it was tasty and delicious, which it used to be. Last couple times I went there it was not tasty. The rice pilaf also used to be good but last couple times not as good.

Very delicious food. I highly recommend it. The service was excellent also. Everyone was very friendly. I ordered the spicy chicken and the 3 for $10 lamb kebob. If you love spicy food, this is it.

My wife and I went to the Chinatown mall in Flushing to try some authentic food, and we came across this restaurant. I have never had Uyghur cuisine before, so we were all for it. We did not try the big plate chicken as it says on this review, we actually ordered the big plate lamb, but it was not a choice.

This restaurant is in a food court inside a shopping mall. If you are driving there, it will be very difficult to find a parking spot on the street. So, you better park inside the mall parking garage. It is cheaper than most of the area. For the food, it is all-you-can-eat Halal restaurant. Udon noodles, regular noodles, fried rice, we enjoyed everything. But for Kazan Kawap, we didn’t like it that much, maybe it was just not for my taste. Prices are average. The food court is quite packed with shoppers and eaters. To summarize, it was a good eating experience for us. We enjoyed it.

The food court can be found on the lower ground floor of New World Mall. This place served very unique type of food. We ordered lagman (number 3) and Sansa (number 10). While the service was very friendly and rather quick, the food was not as warm as we had expected. Perhaps it’s just a cultural difference because I know certain countries serve their food in room temperature. It’s still good though to explore other countries’ food and we didn’t regret it. The main taste was a bit bland overall. The lamb samsa for sure had some cumin in it, reminding us of some Mexican food but the lamb was a staple in Central Asian countries. The lagman noodle was quite chewy, definitely an interesting texture. Spices weren’t as exciting as say Thai or Indian food. We think Central Asian food is almost the perfect definition of comfort food. If you’re a foodie, you need to at least check out this place once.

Amazing. The food is delicious and the service is even better. Very friendly and courteous staff. The dry noodles with stir fry beef is a must try dish. The Samsa is superb. I told the cashier I liked spicy food and he made me an incredible chili-spice sauce that was unique and absolutely delicious. A+++
