I’m from Texas, and this is the closest I can get to home.. our waitress is sweet, but service is slow.. even when it’s pretty dead inside food came out in a reasonable time.. and when she comes to the table, she is very casual comforting, which I like .. it’s just getting her to come to the table to take our order. That was the wait.. other than that, we like the place.. gone a few times (when we don’t BBQ ourselves).. I only had dry brisket once and wasn’t horribly dry, just starting to dry and it wasn’t a big deal.. they gave us extra pulled pork to comp for it drinks are delicious too!

Ordered ribs and brisket with 4 different sides. The meat was okay, although extremely fatty and greasy. My husband and I had hoped for a good traditional-tasting barbecue sauce to go with the meat, but there were only a few different kinds that were all kinda weird. We were extremely disappointed in ALL of the side dishes we ordered – coleslaw and potato salad were definitely not fresh, Mac and cheese was wet and bland, cornbread was cold, dry and not served with butter. Fries and onion rings were good. Aside from the food, the restaurant was dark, kinda dirty and there were flies inside.

The service at this place is horrendous. Every time i have been here. The bartenders act like they don’t see you or pick and chose who gets service next regardless of who has been waiting the longest. One girl was nice this last time but many times i have just left multiple times because no one even aknowledeges you. The older long hair waitress is so rude I would have thought I ran over her dog or something. And she has been, every single time I’ve come here. The food is decent. The beans are good. Thats what has jept me coming back, but I wont be this time. Ive never felt so unwelcome in a place. Ive never experienced such terrible customer service. I’ve worked in customer service for most of my life and have been a waitress. I can’t understand why someone would be so rude and unwelcoming. It’s almost like they don’t want customers. I don’t know if they hate their job or life or why they behave that way but It’s just simply not kind and it’s terrible customer service skills.

This food just melts in your mouth! I wokr up this morning craving more! We are from out of town and made a trip just to try the food. Definitely worth it! The inside is nice and open and the setup/decor is welcoming. The owner came over and introduced himself and asked how things were and gave us a little background on the food and establishment. We appreciated it! The only reason i didn’t give it 5 stars is because the rest of the staff was not very helpful nor pleasant, unfortunately. I’d like to think it was just an “off” day.. for all three of the ladies we encountered. That being saud, we will be coming in to eat every time we go through Longview!

We had brisket nachos. The cheese was like jelly this time, not melted, but still was good lol. We had had the brisket nachos last month from their food truck at Rainer Days and fell in love ❤️ Also had the Ribs…amazing!!! Highly recommend!

This place was very dirty, floors needed to be swept and table/chairs needed to be wiped down. I had the brisket dinner which was very very over cooked and dry. The corn muffin that came with it tasted like straw. My wife had a smoked chicken wrap which had great flavor but chicken was dry. Definitely won’t be going back.

The food is trash , been here a few times the meat is ALWAYS cold , they take it back saying they re made my dish but didn’t just warmed it up and it’s still cold like I said I been here a few times just hoping it was a mistake but it’s not they just don’t care .
