The grilled food was amazing. The fried food was completely overcooked. Like dried out and some black edges. Waitstaff were rarely around. It’s right on the water and absolutely beautiful view. Prices are on the high side. Overall it’s OK. If you want to eat here avoid anything fried. When I say overcooked I mean every fried item was overcooked.

This is a really busy place. Our server was clearly busy and might have been a little stressed with our group of 12 that included 4 kids. Food was good, but could have been served a little warmer versus sitting at the pick-up counter. We got there around 5:00 and they were nice enough to get our group seated quickly.

We had the Celebration of Life for my father there, and everything was amazing. Atmosphere, our server Alan, the food, it truly was great. Everyobe said their food was delicious. I am vegan and asked them if they could make a fried green tomato sandwich. They said no problem, and it was oh so very good! They added beets to it and balsamic. My husband said he would drive down from Jacksonville just for the fish chowder because it was that awesome! Truly, every aspect was amazing.

Last night, we arrived as a party of 9 and checked in between 7 and 730. We were told it was a 45-minute wait. About 20 minutes later, the hostess came out to say that the kitchen was backed up and even if we got a table, we wouldn’t receive our food until closing time (only open from 5-9) and it was up to us whether we wanted to stay. So, I can’t rate food or atmosphere as I never made it inside. I’m not sure how you get backed up when you are only open 4 hours, and you should be aware that most of the area’s seafood restaurants are closed on Tuesdays.
