The restaurant owner Henry is the best. I will follow him to whichever Via Roma location he is working! I live really close to the Rocklin location, but because last Friday night in Rocklin was packed and I really wanted to try the beautiful Valentine’s Day special of Pappardelle Creamy Smoked Salmon, I made a special 8 mile trip to try the Lincoln location for the first time.

They have the best Pizza! Very nice staff and I loved that they put bread and olive oil on the table right away. The first time that our son didn’t need ranch for his pizza because it was too good by itself. Thank you Via Roma.

I had the most pleasant experience here. The food was delicious and fresh. Really loved the bread and olive oil/vinegar, the Caesar salad, the Putanesca, and the delicious desert. But the best part was the outstanding service I received from Cynthia. She did a great job with her infectious smile and friendly service. I will certainly return soon.

A great place. Friendly service, great food. Only a stone’s throw from our house! Prices are great too, but be sure to ask the cost of the specials (not printed on the special board) as they can be significantly more expensive than the average menu dish…just in case the cost of your meal worries you. Much more than a pizzeria. Large portion sizes. We will definitely return!

Decent food but overpriced. I bought 2 large pizzas and paid ~$65, and one of those was just pepperoni. The online menu on the restaurant’s website was off by about $10 per pizza. I grabbed a to-go menu on my way out and the prices on that weren’t accurate either. The food itself tasted fine but not worth the price.

My husband and I love the Rocklin location as the food is stellar and the owner left such a wonderful impression on us. We rounded up a baby sitter and decided to have a date night out to the new location. Unfortunately our experience in Lincoln was completely opposite of what we were expecting. Our food came out after an hour of waiting at our table. I watched my plate sit in the window for 10+ minutes and when I received it, it was lukewarm, the scampi sauce seemed watery, and my shrimp were very over cooked. My husband’s dish was slightly better, but still not the quality we were accustomed to from Via Roma in Rocklin. We eventually had to get up and find our waitress to ask her for to-go boxes as well as to ask for our desserts (included in the dinner promo) to be packed to-go. We spent a total of an hour and forty five minutes seated at our table, often with empty drinks, without having ordered appetizers or eating our dessert in the restaurant. The restaurant was busy, but not to the point where we expected such an unusual wait time. Maybe there was a staffing issue or some sort of communication problem between front of house and the kitchen? Either way, I don’t think we’ll be returning. I will say that the bread and olive oil/balsamic was delicious as well as the Mista salad. The tiramisu (which I’m currently eating at home) is also great! Everything else just fell flat 🙁

Cioppino over fettuccini was delicious! Best I’ve had in years! Also had the meatballs as well as chicken and mushroom fettuccini. Very good all around. Will be back for sure.
