Today, we hit Prominent Bar and Restaurant after church to see what their offerings are like for ourselves.i wasn’t going to grab a “drink” since it was Sunday midday, but I just went with a single Green Lagoon… Great drink with an island vibe to it.. the Pineapple and Coconut Rum lead your tastebuds. My sidekicks went soda and sweet tea.

I normally don’t post reviews especially when they’re negative. However, the service I just received from this restaurant was horrible. I was 1 of 6 customers in the restaurant and I ordered wings and the island fritters. It took 45 minutes to receive my food and once I did my waitress advised they were cooking me more fritters due to the size of them (they were also overcooked) and my wings were no bigger than my pinky finger. I asked the waitress is this normally the size of the wings she said no and she would see what she could do. She came back and said my ticket would be discounted 20%. I asked to speak to the manager because I didn’t patronize the business to receive a discounted meal I expected to have a decent quality meal. My waiter then came back and stated the manager didn’t want to speak to me and said they would void out the entire ticket and to take the food back (not that I planned to eat it anyway). This was my second time visiting the restaurant and the first time left much to be desired as well. I certainly wouldn’t recommend this restaurant and they have definitely lost me as a customer.

I normally do not leave reviews good or bad, but I feel the need to post a review. We went here tonight ( our first night without kids in a long time). We read reviews and thought to give it a chance. It was awful!!! From service to food. We ordered the bang bang shrimp which was over cooked. I got the stuffed chicken…. It was dry and too salty to eat. That’s was after waiting an hour for our entree. I received my entree first and then my husband 20 minutes later received his food. He ordered chef loaded potato…. This was steak fries with a grainy cheese sauce and meat. He took one bite and couldn’t eat anymore. They did discount our ticket and take off his food. Server was nice but not a good server. She sat up at the front on her phone. My husband and I have both worked in the food service industry which is why I normally don’t complain but it was so bad I have to warn others. Also, we were not the only table to complain there were 5 tables in the restaurant and we heard 4 complain. I think the cook was making one entree at a time. We ended up going next door to Taco Bell. If I could leave zero stars I would.

Traveling through from Ohio to Florida and this place was a great choice to stop ( Exit 149, Byron, GA) for dinner and a night’s rest. We ate at Prominent Bar and Restaurant and give them a star rating of 5 !

Oh My God! Best Shrimp Alfredo ever!!! Flavoring of everything was amazing!!! People are great and service is excellent!!! Best small/home town restaurant we’ve found in a long time!!! Will be going back to taste the rest of the menu!!! Good Southern Cooking Vibes ❤️

I normally wouldn’t do a review. I wanted to give my take on this restaurant. First, It’s a quaint little restaurant. It has the potential to be great but a few changes needs to be made. We order appetizers which included bang bang shrimps and garlic Parmesan chicken wings. Those bang bang shrimps was so small for the amount of money paid for them. People like to get the bang for their money. Now, the garlic Parmesan wings was delicious. They need to switch to the jumbo shrimps and stop being stingy with the portion. My dinner was the stuff chicken breast and 2 sides was the Caesar salad and mash potatoes. My chicken breast was cut in half which was a half of breast with a toothpick to keep the chicken breast together. In other words, It wasn’t stuff and actual cut in half with the cream of cheese spread on it. The taste was awesome again they were being stingy. Who cut the breast in half??? Next the mash potatoes and Caesar salad I received a generous amount. The mash potatoes came but a huge amount of butter on them. I really couldn’t eat them because they were too salty. Either they need to cut down on the salt and go with a salt less butter if they salt them potatoes like they did. The Caesar salad was good. Overall they got a lot to work on. I’m not going to tell anyone not to try them because we all have different taste.

An amazing little place with lots of flavor! My husband and I decided to try this place out for a last minute bite to eat. We checked the menu out a few weeks ago and decided to give it a go. Needless to say we were not disappointed. We went on a Wednesday night at 9 and the server was very informative, friendly and prompt. The owner and chef also made sure to greet us and even offered us a new menu item to try out. We got the garlic rolls which were so decadent and full of flavor. My husband got the ribeye with steamed broccoli and rice. Every single thing was fresh and hot and seasoned so perfectly. The steak was juicy, and did not disappoint. The broccoli was honestly the best I’ve ever tasted. I got the steak Alfredo. It was so creamy, fresh and was also seasoned to perfection and the portion sizes of both entrees were MORE than enough for your money! We decided to try a specialty drink the “Georgia on my mind” and Thomas the owner made it himself and it was SO good. The perfect light drink with fresh flavors. We were not at all disappointed. We left full and even had tons to take home. Highly recommend for a night out! We will for sure be back.

My food was good, once it finally arrived. We waited 45 minutes for our food to come out and then it did not come out together. Our server did her best, but the kitchen staff needs some help. I do not recommend going if you are in a hurry or only have an hour for lunch. We had several tables getting upset about the wait. And, our food came out before the table that ordered before we ever walked in. The only other issue is the exhaust system. We wreaked of fried food when we left and our eyes were burning while we waited.
