I’m sorry but I’ve had dinner here a couple times now and it’s been nothing more than mediocre at best. Items are generally pretty bland and underwhelming for the prices. I get the tough economy right now, but would rather see less popular items be cut in order to invest in better quality of items & how they’re prepared. The servers are doing their best but they’re either understaffed or servers think bigger tables means bigger tips and the smaller tables get bypassed with delayed refills, timing on bringing our orders or just bringing the wrong item. I hope to see some changes soon.

The food was extremely bland and the “fresh veggies” were mushy canned green beans. I guess since I was by myself, no one really came by that much to get dirty plates out of the way or even to take my payment for the bill. I had to flag a random server down just so they could get my server. At least the place was clean

Came here on a Sunday evening, it wasn’t busy at all. Upon arriving, my first impression was that this is a small town restaurant with an old timer dive bar inside, with lots of neon lights and slot machines. The decor is dated and generic. It could definitely use a complete remodel. They started us off with a basket of warm bread which was a nice touch. The bread was homemade but nothing special. I ordered the garlic chicken sandwich with fries. My wife ordered the chicken garlic linguine. My sandwich was good but not great. The fries were of the large steak fries variety and weren’t undercooked, but nearly so that was kind of disappointing. My wife’s linguine was good but lacking in flavor. Our waitress was good, no complaints, she was attentive and the food came out pretty quick. We will come back here to try the pizza. Another patron was eating it next to us and it looked and smelled amazing.

Unfortunately we had a bad experience here. Bad part it was for my birthday. The food was not prepared to our satisfaction. Had to return my wives plate twice to finally get it almost right. My steak was cooked under what was requested and came out cold. The atmosphere was also dark and not fully cleaned. Wish it would have been better. Might try 1 more time to see if the experience is better and will give another review.

Went for fish fry, but one could only eat baked fish, no breading. We were told it was included with there Friday night fish fry. Found out later it was not and we were misinformed by the person who answered the phone and waitress. They honored the price for fish fry, but would not do it again. So it all worked out, but employees need to give out right information

It had been over 3years since we have had RedOx. We did curbside pickup. The food was just as awesome as I remember and the service just as fantastic!! Thank you, made my Saturday!!! UPDATE. 8/1/23….Will miss eating Red Ox food, but they have decided to discontinue curbside service. Certainly got our business with that, but no more. Goodbye., until you decide that customer service is again important to your business.
