Great feel and atmosphere. Went for breakfast and the food wasn’t seasoned or cooked well, the soup was heated in a microwave and still cold, my friend ordered grilled cheese and it was bread with unmelted cheese in it, I had eggs and asked for spinach in it – and received what tasted like a 1/4 cup frozen spinach brick mixed in eggs. Not the best diner food (and I love diner food) but the staff was very helpful and so nice! This was a busy Sunday morning so perhaps an off day.

We walk in to this diner 6 of us thinking it was going to be GREAT, We got there at 11. We had to ask for a server because no one came to us and it was 11:30. They answered a telephone call about a table of 6 arriving and set that table up before coming to us. So we order food most got breakfast, my friend got a spinach omelette the spinach smelled bad, I got french onion soup that was headed up in a microwave and tasted weird. I also got a grilled cheese sandwich and it was cold the cheese was 1/2 way melted. I go to cash out and was charged 18.00. The soup was 5$ grilled cheese was 6.25 and ice tea 2.75????

This was one of the worst breakfast I’ve ever had. Hash browns were soggy and so brown. Eggs were overcooked and toast wasn’t cooked at all. Might better have burnt my 30.00 in the parking lot.

Side order of greens $4.50 before tax. 5 dollars for about 5 forks. Box has about 5 fork fulls. Kind of a small serving. That’s a small box. I cant say the food doesn’t taste good. Because they have good food. Just a little skimpy. I could get a whole burger or some Chinese food for a dollar more full meal someplace else. Escorole is not expensive. Wanted something on the side of my sand.
