Jenna, Justin, and Callahan were absolutely amazing. We had a Manhattan contest to see whom made the better Manhattan. Callahan edged Jenna by 1% with Justin’s recipe with honorable mention.

I give it 5 stars based on our experience. First the team/staff/servers were amazing. We have three ladies serving us and we do not have to wait for our food long to arrive. The drink I had Old Wisconsin Old Fashion was the bomb. My wife had the 5 course dinner and I had the lamb chops. Food was exceptionally good! Happy tummy. The price was actually not bad at all.

The Immigrant Restaurant was a great, special dinner for us. Definitely on the pricey side and formal wear was required. The food was exceptional though, definitely the best of our honeymoon trip, and nice for our last night staying at The American Club!!

We dined here a few weeks back, while we were staying at the Wood Lake Inn, Kohler. We had the vegetarian tasting menu. Food was tasty and unique. I did not particularly like the Risotto (I don’t like cheese/cream to begin with – weird I know), but my spouse loved it.

Great service. Amazing food. Probably one of the best restaurants in my opinion in the Midwest. We travel from Minnesota to visit the spa and the Immigrant as a special experience twice a year. Highly recommend them. Love love all the courses.

My wife and I spent our honeymoon at The Carriage House and on our second evening enjoyed the five-course dinner at Immigrant Room- we both agreed it was the best meal we’ve ever had- together or apart! Mary Jo was our waitress and she was such a doll. She took care of us all night, from pairing our exact taste in wine to the meal we were about to enjoy, to checking-in on us regularly to make sure everything was tasting okay. It was such an intimate experience, tucked into the basement of The American Club. The menu was incredibly varied and each dish tasted so very unique- we loved every bite! While the dishes change on a regular basis, depending on what’s in season, we would highly recommend the seared scallops, the lobster bisque, the 30-day aged tenderloin, and the quail eggs and pork belly. If you can, request to have Mary Jo as your waitress- she’ll take great care of you.

Ate there a month ago with a party of 15. Service, ambiance and food was terrible. Have been there in past and it was much better, but it has been a while. Everyone complained. For the price, we would expect much better. At WI room the breakfast was about the same. Food and service, both bad. Beer at Horse and Plow was good.

Fine dining in an elegant setting. An innovative menu that always has interesting wine pairings available. It is pricey, but the quality and service are top notch. Very good wine list. The immigrant room is in the American club resort, a premiere resort that takes a back seat to none. While the pairings of wine and food are good, they could be better. I prefer the pairings at Sanford’s in milwaukee, which seem more inspired and surprising.
