Amazing burger, their secret burger sauce is unbelievable! However the food super super SLOW. Average wait time is about 15-20 minutes. Recommend order through phone call and pick up after about 15 minutes. A little pricey as well but the burgers worth the price.

Fresh, well made burger! They only had one staff person because of an emergency, but Sandy did a great job keeping the place running! The chocolate peanut butter shake was amazing!

Going in I was excited about a Hawaiian burger joint. Unfortunately I had a disappointing experience. Burgers weren’t anything special. Mine was over cooked while my partner’s was medium to medium rare. The teriyaki sauce was good, and their special sauce tastes a lot like honey mustard. Staff was friendly and our food was fast. The highlight of the night was definately the fries. We upgraded one order to the garlic seasoning (not the butter), and they were fantastic.

We were visiting the area and searched Google Maps for a good burger place, and this one had the best reviews. Though you can’t always trust the reviews, you certainly can in this case because Teddy’s Bigger Burgers is fantastic!

Pricey, but worth the money. The Special menu has quite a bit of variety; I had the Bleu Wave burger which is Teriyaki and Bleu Cheese.

Had lunch with the fam, we tried the Hawkwye and the Nom Nom burgers with Umami fries and Onions rings… I rarely eat burgers, I crushed my burger! I don’t know which one I like better, Nom bc of garlicky goodness or Hawkeye bc of hashbrowns and bbq sauce, glad I got to try both

Probably my favorite burger and fries in Iowa City. The burgers are fantastic, the special sauce is delicious, the fries (both regular and garlic) are perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, the shakes are the right consistency. Also, one of the few places that has pink lemonade as a regular soft drink. Love this place.

My favorite thing about Teddy’s is that since the day it opened years ago until now it has been CONSISTENT!! The food has stayed the same, tasted the same, since day one. As a picky eater I REALLY appreciate that. The food is always fresh & hot no matter when you order. I don’t think I have ever had them mess up an order either. Cheese fries with real cheese sauce & Huge, thick shakes. One of my favorite places in town.

The employees were very nice and helpful. The food was made to order so it did take a little longer but it was worth the wait!

The onion rings were great. I got a 1/3 cheeseburger with bacon and sauted onions. Along with root beer float. Cost me just under $19. I wanted to try it and was not pleased at the cost for the flavor I got. I will stick to a nicer sit down restaurant or stick to star light. Same meal would of tasted way better for $13
