This is a good place for the airport. We got the signature burger and it wasn’t spectacular but it was good. Cooked medium like I asked. We wanted to try places we have never been while on vacation. The parmesan fries were good. There’s little cut out areas to be able to see the airport people walking by. Nice place to eat and wait for the plane. Nothing else to really mention, it was like $40 before the tip

Fairly decent burger and fries for an airport but I recommend getting the burger more cooked. The first time I ate the burger it was medium well and I noticed some excess myoglobin (that stuff that comes out of burgers as it cooks). I think I ended up eating the first burger since it doesn’t hurt anything but the second time I just asked for more on the well done side. Parmesan fries were also decent.

If you’re looking for a decent meal option at St. Louis airport, Mike Shannon’s restaurant is worth considering. I was pleasantly surprised by their buffalo chicken sandwich, which was pretty good, especially compared to the limited options for dining past security after 6 PM. Overall, it’s a solid choice for anyone looking for a quick bite at the airport.

Recently the airport grill went to order and pay with your phone. No menus, no personal interaction with the people. Terrible idea to save a buck. This will be my last time supporting the grill. Sorry for the wonderful workers that are caught in the middle of the greedy owners and managers.

First and last time I will stop by this place. The chicken taco salad was terrible …. very little chicken drenched in hot sauce which by design makes you want another cold beer … Stella draft @ $10.35 a glass. With tip this light lunch cost me $46.51 WHAT A RIP OFF. THEN the atmosphere stank. You would think that since Shannon won 2 World Series in 1964 and 1967 with Bob Gibson and Lou Brock as team mates the Cardinal Shirts on display would be signed by either or both. If I could, I would give this place no stars. I seen that this restaurant looked really good online so I told my husband let’s go to the airport early & grab a bite to eat there. I’m not from St. Louis so when I got there, I was just going to ask the waitress if there was a long wait and she scolded at me while raising her finger and pointed at me and rudely rolled her eyes and told me in a angry tone to wait. We immediately left. This staff is extremely umprofessional and they definetly need to train their employees manners & professionalism in the workplace. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!

they were in no rush to get us our food or bill after waiting almost an HOUR on our order that wasn’t even right. on top of terrible service, the portion size for a nearly $20 bowl of mac and cheese was barely big enough to be considered a side.

Beware: I sat at the bar (only female there) as this was the only open spot. I waited for about 10 minutes, then moved to another stool that opened up as it seemed the bartender couldn’t see me. Waited another 5. Other male patrons started noticing I wasn’t getting served, so I finally waved my arm out obnoxiously to try to get the bartenders attention and he ignored me again, eating his own meal, asking others if they wanted refills and doing the dishwasher.
