We went on a crowded night without a reservation, and they kindly made room for us: the maitre d’ might be the best reason to come. The food was great as it always is and we usually try the specialties of the day. They focus on doing a few things very well, cooking and seasoning everything just perfectly, and there’s always a fish and a nice cut off meat. They don’t have a lot of the trappings of haute cuisine—the china is simple, the space is modest—so this might not be the best place for your snobby acquaintances, but bring your foodie friends and you’ll have a great meal. BYOB with two liquor stores on the street.

Pretty disappointed, given the hype. Waiters heavy on machismo and light on attentiveness. Bland calamari and marinara. The chicken entrees consisted of small portions and were nondescript. Ambiance is loud and dim.

Meatballs were okay. Veal was poor. Pastas are excellent but overpriced. Took a while to get menus and place the order but the food came quickly. Dining room is crowded and stale.

Lunch salad on the small side. Didnt taste like caesar salad. Busboy spilled glass of soda on me. Waiter miscalculated tab. Overall, pretty much of a joke.

My daughter got a take out dinner of penne (spicy) which was served with dried bread. Outrages price. Could have had a better meal cooked at home for the price.

Very very good , didn’t know it existed for the past 7 years. My bad, no really my bad. While I am usually eating in Morristown which has some nice spots , the vast majority are only OK/passable this spot was was calling out and I didn’t hear. Really a nice set of options plus specials, with a noticeably northern Italian tilt. Run by very personable people.Will definately be back , if we can get in.

Upscale restaurant with very good food and attentive wait staff. However, tables are just too close together. You can be part of the conversation with patrons at table next to you without trying…which is what happened to us. Owner should take out a few tables to make the customer’s dining experience more pleasant and feel more private or move to a larger location when his lease is up.
