I wish I had taken a picture before digging into this plate but I could not help myself. I got the oxtail, white rice plate. It came with plantains and cabbage. I also got a side of Mac n cheese and 2 drinks from the cooler. THIS FOOD IS GOOD AS HECK! Plate was filled with and overflow of food, not a selfish portion like some places. All in all, thank you Aunty Vannie’s . I will return to try something else on another day.

I’m not sure what’s going on but you can tell by lack of no traffic in the restaurant. The prices went up and the food portion is smaller. I purchased a jerk chicken and hardly got any chicken. A beef patty is damn near $4. The lady at the register is slow as a turtle, she need alil assistance. This use to be my favorite spot for jerk chicken.

I’m hooked. I walked in here not sure what I wanted to eat. I ordered the jerk salmon and as soon as I tasted it I knew I made the right decision. Spicy enough and Salmon cooked just right. The Ackee and Saltfish is good too. I will definitely be back. Oh yeah, the lemonade that came with the lunch special was just right!

Flavor of the food was good however they charge $15 for small jerk chicken plate with very little chicken. Other Jamaican restaurants in the area are cheaper with more food that tastes just as good or better. It also has a depressing vibe and I believe that’s why customers wait outside for their food. Bad mojo get them negative spirits out of there..lol

Way too expensive for what you get. It is hot in this place with no windows open or anything. Definitely not comfortable for anybody wanting to dine in during the warmer months. The thermostat is set to 84. I specifically ordered a large jerk chicken plate and the cashier rang me up for a small. I paid the difference with cash and my order was still wrong. She opened the plate and it was a small. At this point it was so hot in the place that I just took the loss and left. She did not say anything about the obviously small plate. They actually grill their jerk chicken which was tasty but I will not be returning.

Today was my third attempt at trying Jamaican food, and definitely the best. I mean this place 100% blew the other two out of the water! Each time I had jerk chicken, and I won’t go anywhere else now. I tried plantains for the first time ever at the second restaurant I went to, and decided I didn’t like them at all. It must’ve been Jesus himself that told me to take a chance today lol. I don’t know what they do different, but they are AMAZING!!! Price was good, it was a lot of food, and I like the way they wrap the ordered that are being delivered.
