The coconut rice tasted like it was scraped from the bottom of the pot. It tasted like it was 1 week old. It was mixed with old rice for sure. I am so disappointed. It had so many burnt pieces of rice in it. To the garbage it goes.

Jasmine, the server, was cool. Clean restaurant. Lots of store front parking. Grilled Tilapia was good, jollof rice was not.

The owner of this place has horrible customer service skills. I walked in to pick up an order and there was no one at the register, the lady was sitting down chatting with her friends acting like she doesn’t see someone needing assistance. A good 5 mins later she gets up and just asks what I want. No greeting or anything after she sat there and watched a paying customer just standing looking stupid at her register.

The process to get my food after they gave it to someone else took a long time to resolve. When I finally recieved my order, it was missing my suya. Also did not receive any plantains one of my orders said it comes with that I selected. Extra stars for how delicious the tomato stew and jollof was, they are great at seasoning, but the oxtail was VERY tough, and would not come off the bone without tearing very hard at it.

Loved this place. Food was freshly made and served hot. Customer service was the best I’ve seen of an African restaurant.

I am giving this place 2stars because of the horrible customer service. 5 times that I have been here the service that I’ve receuved is tremendously slow and aside from Linda, no one will even greet you or wait on you..unless you wave them over to your table. Well the tall tall lady only smiles when she is serving a table full of men…she gives them prompt service with a smile. My food on March 1st was horrible and undercooked fish with overcooked scorched unseasoned jallof rice AND hard plantain. I gave them 4 to 5 visits and with that…NO MORE. Also they advertise Oxtails but never have them and when they do, They have to cook them and you wait for 1.5hrs. Poor poor poor poor choice of place to eat. No music no menus….Never again…I would rather go to any of the other African restaurants.

Been coming here for a while for the suya but today and the last few visits the suya has been mid and the packaging getting smaller and smaller. If you want good suya go to 9ja suya Spot on hw6 by bissonnet in the Exxon parking lot better quality and you get a big box for 20 that 4 can eat from easily. Chez michelle is awaste

The dish I order should have had beef. It only had gristle, fat and bones without meat. The attached pic is the above mentioned contents. Rice was very oily, food was not eatable. I threw it all away. I am so disgusted with the contents. Unfortunately, I could not give them a zero.
