Most people have been to this kind of a restaurant where it’s very very niche. It is a wonderful place to come and have a peaceful meal. The restaurant theme here is faith, the service demonstrates this. The food is simple, light, and filling with wonderful flavors. It’s easy to pick anything from the menu and know it’s gonna be good.

I will say that the food I received was delicious. I ordered through Grubhub and when I got my food I was missing my pasta salad and honey mustard dressing. It was nice of you guys to provide a cup of ice for my can of soda which I really appreciated. Other than that I can’t complain. Will have to come in and eat another time.

Went to Mustard Seed with mother in law and wife for Mother’s Day. Mother in law loved it but there were no gluten free items for the wife but she was able to work around it. Food was tasty, but portions are small and that’s to be expected at a tea room. We were the only one in the restaurant and that was nice as well.

The food was good but the service was terrible. It was a good concept since I’m Christian, but I don’t think we’ll be back. The waitress didn’t acknowledge us when we walked in, tell us where to sit or even bring us a bill. She had to be waved down to even pay! There were literally 2 other tables there other than ours. Then in the middle of taking our order she walked off to talk to someone else that walked in, which was really rude. She brought us an extra container of tea and that was the only time she came to the table other than to bring our food. Everyone that we saw that worked there acted like they didn’t want to be there. Our waitress was lucky to get what she did for a tip and she only got the amount she did because she was watching the screen the whole time. My suggestion: hire better waitresses. I don’t understand how you guys got the rating that you did…

The service was very good. The tomato basil soup was delicious. The sandwiches were ehhh. The chicken salad tasted mostly of mayonnaise. The tuna salad was good, and the pimento cheese was good. The problem with the sandwiches was the bread is very thick in comparison to the filling (chicken salad, tuna salad, or pimento cheese). When asking for a dessert on the menu, we were given a storage bowl with dessert crammed in it. Kinda weird. If they would put more filling on the bread, it would be great. I plan to return to try the casseroles and salads. Oh, almost forgot, the restaurant is decorated perfectly. It’s very tastefully and colorfully decorated.
