The food was excellent! I had the Rib Eye and the kids had the Filet while the wife had the scallops. Everyone loved their food. The service was top notch and so was the Atmosphere. We would recommend making reservations and trying this place out.

Cooks do not know how to cook a steak. My medium rare order came out well done. Returned and came out medium done a second time when the rest of my part was finished eating. The waitress was trying but only started a week ago. The manager never bothered to come out. Nice lake view, but a lot of flies. Would not recommend especially for the high price. Very disappointed.

Had a reservation for 5:30. Seated right away but was never greeted at our table to take our order. Was there for 30 minutes and not one person came to our table or even looked at us. Someone came in after us and was greeted right away and had a drink and bread within 5 minutes of being seated. Left right after seeing that. TERRIBLE SERVICE!!!!

Horrible service. We left hungry after never receiving our food, and later ran into another couple who had done the same thing. We never even got the appetizer. We waited 45 minutes just to get our drinks (that we finally retrieved ourselves). Our server didn’t even acknowledge this. We continued waiting and waiting. We were treated as if the expectation was on us to serve her. We were kind and didn’t complain even as she made it very clear through a lot of sighs and exasperated gestures that she was put out. By what? The place was empty! We didn’t even ask where our drinks were, didn’t complain about the missing appetizer, or inquire about our food. We just kept waiting. And waiting. But we finally realized we were about to spend a few hundred dollars and several wasted hours for a cold $52 steak. We decided to just leave. We couldn’t even get her attention to close us out for our drinks! More waiting. Finally, we asked for our check and wanted to just get out of there, but suddenly there’s a manager at our table and the server going on about how much she’d done for us. It was almost like she’d tattled on those awful people who didn’t appreciate all she’d (not) done. It was embarrassing. We didn’t ask for a manager, and didn’t appreciate being forced to explain why we were leaving, and then hear nothing but excuses. If someone wants to leave, just let them. Especially when we weren’t the only people doing so. The other couple told us they were there for an hour and a half waiting for their food before finally giving up and leaving hungry. This is ridiculous in any restaurant. But especially a place touting themselves to be fine dining, with an extremely high priced menu. The manager comped our drinks (we didn’t ask for that), but we never even explained that one of them wasn’t the way we’d ordered it, and one of them had a huge square ice cube that took up most of the glass. One drink and it was gone. I can’t imagine how messed up the food would have been, had we ever gotten it. But service is everything. It’s not a big deal to get drinks wrong, we could have overlooked subpar food. But service is everything. This place is an absolute failure.

It’s located on the Margaritaville Compound, but it’s not at all what you would expect. The menu and photos here aren’t at all what’s actually available. Was looking for more of an upscale restaurant and the Google photos looked amazing. Made a reservation, no need…only about 5 tables actually full. Menu was limited to 5 entrees with only 1 salad available on the appetizer menu. If you wanted a vegetable side it was carrots again on the appetizer menu. Took 25 minutes to get my appetizer salad and hushpuppy. Then another 20 for my Cornish Hen. Wasn’t bad but definitely not worth the high-end price of $30. Duck stroganoff was also ordered and it tasted like tuna noodle casserole. Spent $102 on 2 entrees a salad and hushpuppies. Not worth $25 on a good day, best part of the dinner was the shared salad. Don’t get dressed up for the occasion the decor is still from the 80’s and the musty smell thru the hotel to get to the restaurant, gross. Never again.

Wow what an experience! The staff, food, and drinks are top notch! I had the duck and my husband had a steak. We’ve been all over the US, and I must say the duck was the best I’ve ever had! It just melts in your mouth. We come to the Lake of the Ozarks every summer and we will most definitely be back!

We chose this restaurant on our daughters 13th Birthday because she wanted King Crab. We called ahead and made sure there would be some available and made a reservation. About 45 minutes after ordering we were told there was no crab and that 3 of our table of 8 would need to order something else. We were there for almost 2 hours (with small children) before even receiving our appetizers and salads. No refills without asking multiple times. Once our main course arrived most of the food was cold!!! I spoke up and they took the food and microwaved our steaks!!! That is disgusting. I’m appalled that at a fine dining establishment we waited that long and then received cold food. I would have excused it had they been busy, but they were not at all. When you pay almost $600 for a family meal you expect it to be a good experience and good food. We got neither…

It was good. Got the 14oz KC Strip and it was just a steak. Nothing special. No special flavorings. Nothing to remember. Not worth the $52. They don’t have a big menu. Good, but not great. No reason to come back.
