As of this review, I know this place doesn’t have a whole lot of stars. I had a good experience here though. I went for lunch with a co-worker and although they don’t have any lunch specials, the regular order was a serious portion for both of us. The food was a little spicy, but it was still tasty. I recommend that if you normally order a certain number for level of spiciness, take it down a number or even two. The place seems clean, and the food is priced similarly to other restaurants in the area for this cuisine.

Ordered the yellow curry and panang curry both with chicken and the boat soup noodles. The curries were creamy and delicious paired with rice. The panang curry is more light and fragrant due to the Thai basil but the yellow curry was more rich and savory. The portion sizes were very generous. The boat soup noodles was an acquired taste, with a tinge of sourness of the soup after adding the recommended sauce.

Got off my flight from the east coast, and searched for the nearest Thai restaurant. I’m so glad that this place popped up. The family is super friendly and provided great service! Their food was comparable to the Thai food you’d get in northern Jersey/NYC, and they actually understand how to make your food SPICY when requested. We were both super satisfied with our food. I would definitely recommend Thai-U-Up if you’re around the area and craving some Thai food.

The fried rice used to be my goto meal and was well worth the price but after receiving my order today I can’t say I’d reccomend them to anyone to be honest. The fried rice was straight up plain flavorless white rice with really tough meat and steamed vegetables, I’m not sure when they changed the recipe but for $18 I expected a tasty flavorful meal. Extremely disappointed that the only discernable flavor came from steamed vegetables

Good Thai take out. I will go back to try the crispy garlic chicken.

The food…. expensive for what you get. Crispy garlic chicken was neither crispy or garlicy and was over cooked and dry, sad. The golden noodles I ordered with beef (extra $) came in a big clump/wad the beef was tough and chewy one piece looked burned. The vegetables I really enjoyed, crispy yet slightly cooked. The peanut sauce for noodles reminded me more of peanut butter than a sauce, sweet creamy and peanuty. Portions were on the small side, white rice was just fine. Spice level was exactly how I ordered. People were friendly.

Unfortunately it’s not worth what you pay for. Some things are good, others aren’t, so you pay a lot and the consistency just isn’t there. I’ve decided that it’s worth the drive to Renton for better Thai food. I’m not going to say where because they are busy enough, lol.

Just ordered delivery. My food wasn’t seasoned and non spiced even though I ordered 2 star and tasted like the ingredients were bought in a super market

I really enjoyed the place. The people there were extremely nice and knowledgeable about the restaurant and food truck. The food is fresh and very high quality.

The flavor tasted more Chinese than thai, crispy garlic tasted like orange chicken without the orange flavor, and phad Thai was bland. Funny because I knew the food wouldn’t be good as soon as my husband brought it to the car and sure enough, it sucked! The only reason I ordered from here was because I thought it was Krungthep, only to find it I ordered at the wrong place. It’s also concerning that when I placed the order (crispy garlic takes a lot longer to make), she said it would be ready in 5 minutes. Should’ve been a clue that I was calling the wrong place, but I was rushing. This makes me believe they pre make the food, like Panda or a buffet. I suggest you spend your hard earned $$ at Krungthep, for authentic thai food.
