My wife and I decided to try this place out while in town visiting family. We chose Kapers because of the reviews. My sister lives 10 minutes away and had never heard of the place which we thought was interesting.

Cozy atmosphere & friendly staff! The red Sangria was tasty & refreshing! The beef sliders with onions, maple bacon jam and gouda had a great flavor but I felt like it was missing something- maybe a little bit of an aioli? The large slice of mint chocolate chip cheesecake was delicious! The portion size is enough for two.

This is a nice little Chesapeake restaurant! If you go try there amazing happy hour featuring half off drafts from local brewery Big Ugly! And do not miss out on the amazing cheesecake!

The prices are so high for such a small amount of “tapas”. $12 for 6 deviled eggs (which were just deviled eggs with some sauce drizzled lightly on top). Two chicken tenders on skewers; $16. The she-crab soup was full of (parmesan?) and VERY thin. I will say that, other than the soup, everything tasted good and the atmosphere was nice but the dishes were BEYOND overpriced.

This is a chic and cozy eatery with a charming ambiance, welcoming staff, and exquisitely crafted food. We enjoyed the comfortable, cushy lounge seating in the corner, which enhanced the cozy vibe. Because our kids were with us, we opted for some different dishes they would enjoy: truffle fries, Thai Chili deviled eggs, and Jamaican Jerk Chicken Tacos. Scrumptious all the way around. For dessert we shared the orange chocolate cheesecake. Divine. Despite not having lemonade on the menu, the staff went above and beyond for our kids and made a bubbly lemonade just for them! Nancy served us with such warmth and attention. Jeff was nothing if not kind and inviting, ensuring our dining experience was a pleasant one. The manager, Josh, is a bona fide sommelier. So if you like wine, he’s your sure guide to finding the right one. The chef is an all star, of the Michelin-starred variety. Without a doubt, this eatery has become a must-visit spot whenever we’re in the area. We can’t wait to return and explore more of their exceptional menu offerings.

Was excited to try this place bc of the great reviews but for me it was just okay…mostly bc of the portion sizes. When they say small plates, they mean small plate. The service was good and the food was seasoned well. The chicken spring rolls….a must-have!! Burger and stir fry were yummy!! Fries were meh.

Kapers Eatery has a tasty menu of tapas. After sampling a cold plate, 2 hot plates and the special. The dishes were flavorful and prepared beautifully. The staff was friendly and inviting. The owner was helpful and invited feedback on the food. Kapers Eatery will be added to one of my favorite local places to take my wife.
