Honestly don’t let the appearance of the deli fool you. The tacos are amazing!!! They call the crunchy tacos “quesadillas” so don’t get confused. I suggest you order in person better too. I called and the guy who answered couldn’t understand me and hung up. But really it was so good!

I was so upset to receive my sandwich improperly made. It was horrible and I threw it away. My daughter asked for ham, turkey and cheese hero and received it on a dry disgusting flimsy roll full of turkey, hardly any ham and some cheese. I was so upset!!! If a person says a hero sandwich that’s what they expect. I don’t live in NY anymore so when I visit I look forward to a hero sandwich from NY. To get this roll was the saddest thing ever!! We won’t be back to this store!! Last time we visited they messed up my breakfast and scrambled my eggs when I expected them over easy. Just like they made like when I was a kid growing up there. I just hate getting my food there now. They don’t listen to how the customer ask for the food to be made!! $10 for that nasty sandwich is just terrible!!! Shame on the cashier for arguing with me about it too when I called. We don’t recommend this deli for good NYC sandwiches.

the most value for money and super tasty quesadillas tacos in astoria. don’t forget to taste al pastor , spicy pork and beef tongue, they came with really good salsas on the side (ask for some extra green salsa). some nights the kitchen is really busy so be patient.

Ordered carne asada tacos and the beef tasted like jerky. It was as if it had been sitting out for at least a day and a half. The tortillas were also very stale. Not sure if it was the time I came (after 1) but the carne asada/ beef tacos just were not good. They also forgot two tacos but still charged full price.

Delicious food and very kind workers! They have a good variety of snacks and food on the deli menu. The young man at the front register overheard my friend and I talking about how we’ve never tried horchata and then proceeded to give us free samples. Can’t wait to go back!

The quality of the quesadillas have been getting progressively worse over the last year, and the staff is incompetent. Bought 3 orders of quesadillas and can’t do anything with them because they didn’t even include the sauces. Worst service ever.
