Hi. I’m a Burmese, and I grew up in the old country for 13 years. This is good food but 3… to 4 stars if we’re being generous in rating for authenticity. What is up with that sauce on the fried tofu?? I know ethnic restaurants must change traditional foods to appeal to the wider market in the U.S. but it was just way off. I had no choice but to eat it because they poured that sauce right on the tofu pieces. No choice was even offered to have that sauce or not. I still have nightmares about it.

Come hungry, the food is so good and quite filling! A number of people recommended this place to me, so I already had high hopes, and they were not dashed. For starters, the dip appetizer is really tasty, the dip itself comes with chicken, which was really unexpected. My favorite entree of all that we ordered was the lamb kebat, perfectly spicy and flavorful! My mango lassi was also quite delicious. The service was good, but I wish we had sat inside, it was so loud in the outdoor seating, it was hard to hear others in my party.

Offered both dining in or out. Would recommend a dining in option to avoid street noises from construction and or homelessness. Lunch menu prices range from $18-$25; portion sizes are on the smaller end. Their dishes are flavor somewhat similar to Thai foods, minus the hot spicy flavor. Spicy noodle dish and crunchy chicken are flavorful; rainbow salad is plain tasting with lots of cabbage rather than shredded papaya as a foundation. Fried rice dish is also tasteful!

Love Burma Superstar!!! The food can take a while to come out because it gets very busy and they make the food fresh, the portion sizes are great and the food has a lot of flavor. I tend to get a lot of lamb dishes but also like the spicy chicken noodles, coconut rice, the Tea salad is delicious! You won’t regret eating here. One thing I wish they didn’t change is the Vegetarian Samosa’s , old style was better but new style is okay.

The food was so amazing and the the portion sizes were great for sharing. It was so good that I had to go back and take some to have leftovers in LA and it tasted just as amazing. It make has become a place worth flying or driving to have it again. The flavors just blended effortlessly. We tried a total of about 6 different dishes ND none of them disappointed!!! Also the drinks were great as well.
