I was stuffed with satisfaction after trying the sampler! The ribs are so good I didn’t add any sauce (they have a few to choose from) I let them melt in my mouth just the way they were! And the southern hospitality was definitely filling the atmosphere!

Went twice last fall. The meat has ZERO smoke, it’ not terrible, but it is not BBQ. The second star is only because the potato salad was excellent. Second trip we sat down and no one came to help us. Two of the girls working were standing by the bar chatting and looked at us a few times. When I gave them a “what the heck” look one of them came over and said, “did y’all need some help” then she walked into the back and did not reappear. We just got up and left at that point. With people coming through after a game in Athens, tired and hungry, you should be ready to help with a smile. I give most any place 2 shots. G Brand does not get a third.

My wife and I hired G Brand to cater our wedding and honestly couldn’t have asked for a more courteous, diligent, and professional service. The food was great and the staff that worked the venue was even better. I would recommend anyone who is considering them for your future event or wedding. Even Mr. Gretsch himself delivered and worked the venue. Fine work!

Great food and service. I had the ribs. The sweet tea is strong and dark as well. Take cash though as they charged me the service fee when I used a card, did not see a notice about that, just a FYI.

I had the brisket sandwich and it certainly ranks up there as one of the best I’ve had. The cole slaw was perfectly sweet and had a great crunch. I will probably come back to get a giant tub for takeout eventually. Next time I’m here for dinner I’ll get a different side instead of stew. The stew was delicious, but it was too much meat for me after already devouring my sandwich. Would love to see cornbread on the menu. I’m happy I live close enough to make a regular dining spot for me.

We love going here for the bbq and the banana pudding! It use to be an automobile dealership, and the use that in the décor. If you are looking for fancy, this is not the place for you. If it’s good food your after, then give it a try!
