I’m always skeptical about going to a Mexican restaurant since I am Mexican myself and can cook. I was recommended by a friend to try it out, so I did…and boy oh boy it didn’t disappoint at all! I had a shrimp tostada and a plate of camarones al mojo de Ajo. Fresh delicious and they use huge shrimp! Great flavors, perfectly seasoned. My friends had a shrimp cocktail, full of large seafood pieces, so big she couldn’t finish it. My other friend had the Chile Verde, perfectly seasoned, so tender it melted in your mouth. Great service, great atmosphere especially if you’re craving that homemade cooked meal feel.

It seems as the chef lacked salt to cook anything, seasoning was OK. The guacamole was great, tortillas ok, salsa Verde Carne, really lacking. Prices are off, must be the economy, but it’s over priced to me.

Food was delicious and service was good and quick! FINALLY FOUND A GREAT MEXICAN RESTAURANT I CAN BRAG ABOUT. The atmosphere was so cute. This place is adorable for dinner, lunch or any meal. Yummy and soul soothing dishes for foodies and traditionalists alike! I had the pollo ranchero lunch special and the sauce was just the right balance of spicy and savory. The wait staff was very nice, helpful and efficient. The service was fast and we were in and out. It must be a popular place because it was packed for on a weekday even though it wasn’t the lunch rush. Parking was a bit of an issue too since their lot is small and street parking is very crowded as well.
