Brand new TJ. Nice and clean…. Except bathroom should be checked more often. Person at the counter was very helpful with a recommendation and with finding a money saving combo. Burrito – major disappointment, where was the chicken, where was the seasoning?

Ordered 2 super potato oles, the potatoes were half cooked they forgot the beans and Guacamole that goes on it. I get they are new but learn what goes on a super potato ole… bummer I love taco johns but this was the second time this location has disappointed me…

I went here today. The tacos were as good as Taco Bell however the low price works on “Taco Tuesdays”. The taste of the food is below Taco Bell yet enjoyable. Customer service at the front counter was kind, enjoyable and happy. The food was a nice change yet “Taco Bell” wins for taste.

My first time trying Taco John’s. Their website said they had a full menu all day. I arrived, ordered from the menu board behind the counter, and was told they only had breakfast available because they had just opened, but they would have the full menu in a couple weeks. So I ordered a breakfast item from their small menu (four items!). It was 11 bucks. I briefly considered handing over $5 and claiming that since they had just opened, I didn’t have my full wallet (although I planned to have it with me in a couple weeks!), but I decided to leave that sarcasm for my review. The issue is not with the employees – who were friendly, quick, and attentive – but with the management, who obviously rushed opening this location before it was ready to fully serve customers. Of course, being unprepared for transacting business is only permissible for the management/owners, never for the customers or the employees!

First time trying Taco John’s and it wasn’t the Taco Bell killer I had hoped it would be. Ordered on the app and picked it up in the drive-thru. Everything was in the bag but I did request no lettuce on the three tacos I ordered and they all had lettuce.

Place just opened in West Allis area. Not too many people frequent this store yet which is a shame. Taco Johns is actually good as long as you don’t expect authentic Spanish food.

Makes Taco Bell seem like the best Mexican food you’ve ever had…but unlike Taco Bell, they’ll probably make your order correctly, and they seem nice – so maybe still worth a visit if you like overpriced bland food or really really love tater tots (aka Potato Oles…which are admittedly pretty good). Also, they have Pepsi instead of Coke. That wouldn’t be the end of the world, except Taco Bell has exclusive rights to the only good Pepsi product (Baja Blast), so the drinks suck too.

Very very slow. Got here at 6:12 pm and the dining room was closed already. So much faster at Waukesha Taco John’s…probably would have driven there and finished eating. 38 minutes and we still are not close to the pickup window. We will not be back. 39 minutes to pay and another 5 minutes for food which is cold. Kind of unfortunate as we would have been frequent customers.

The place has only been open for about a month, but seemed dirty. Although I was the only customer inside, I still waited several minutes before I was waited on. The staff seemed young and inexperienced. The condiment bins in the eating area were empty, no mild sauce only hot. I’ve been to other Taco John locations and am usually pleased, this place needs some work. Lots of competition in the area.
