this place is probably a good place the only problem I had was the young lady working in the front was very rude I didn’t even get to taste the food. I asked her for spicy sauce do they have some and she caught her attitude instantly. I told myself I would never again pay money to rude customer service. I’m not axing for free food or charity I’m paying for my meal wise such a bad attitude?. These owners are losing money because they hire people with no personality and people who are very mean and rude. She honestly needs to be fired immediately.

On this 1st visit, I arrived late in the evening. So, I missed out on what I have deemed as the best test of any Jamaican restaurant (that I care to patronage)… the Curry Goat. I ordered $12 Curry Chicken (to minimally sample their curry). I always choose Rice & Peas and a vegetable. I was disheartened to find that their only substitute to the usual cabbage was more rice. Not even an alternative as a side order (unless you count plantains). The chicken was cooked to perfection! The curry gravy was good, but the turmeric over powered the overall taste. The rice and peas were not authentic. I’ve tasted better and there were no visible thyme sprigs of flavor. The cabbage was not tasteful, included mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, and green beans; added for color but most likely were frozen instead of can, which is good), and it was overcooked. I may return to try the $21.69 Oxtails, $12 ‘Wet & Wild’ Jerk Chicken, or $15 Curry Goat, but only bcuz they’re the only late night option.

I’ve ordered from this restaurant several times on Uber eats and for the first time I had a issue last night receiving my order so I called the restaurant to see if I was able to pick it up myself since the uber eats driver was taking way too long to pick up the order and they were closing soon. The woman I spoke to on the phone was so kind and respectful. I should’ve got her name so I can properly give her the praise she deserves. She truly was trying and willing to help and called me back and came up with a solution. I’m pregnant and was craving their jerk chicken and beef patty so bad and they blessed us last night lol. Even threw in free macaroni and cheese balls which I love so much and was tempted to buy but end up getting it for free for the trouble Uber eats caused. They gave us sweet plantains and a drink as well! I was so satisfied with my order. Food (Jerk Chicken, beef Patty, Macaroni and Cheese balls, sweet plantains, oxtails and rice and peas) was fresh and delicious as ALWAYS. The juice was very good too. It was my boyfriend first time eating from them and he LOVE the oxtails, it was so good, a great portion and fresh. Now I got him saying he going back again lol. We still have leftover food from last night! It was NOT their fault AT ALL that our order wasn’t delivered but they went above and beyond for us and allowed us to pick it up and I’m forever grateful. We will always buy from them. To the woman I spoke to, I hope you see this. Thank you, you’re so kind, patient and respectful. You didn’t have to go above and beyond because the issue was not your fault but you still made sure we got our order. Because of you and the staff you was working with last night, I’ll always buy from your restaurant. God bless you all and your establishment.

This is by far the best Jamaican food I’ve had in Atlanta. The Jerk chicken is so flavorful and the rice and peas are to die for…. The gravy is actually gravy and not chicken grease. 10/10 would recommend.

This is an honest review, so I’m trying not to be mean —- just sincere. I wanted sooooo bad to give this place a chance. I saw there were a lot of repetitious reviews that complained about the seasoning and over cooked cabbage and rice. I saw the reviews were months old so gave it the benefit of the doubt that the issue could’ve been fixed by now, also I’m patient to American made Jamaican food, I don’t expect them to taste the same. The rice was just pure mush. The plating was appetizing and the portion sizes are HUGE especially for the price— but that means nothing when you’re just going to throw away most of it. I paid for extra gravy, yet EVERYTHING tasted unseasoned, and I understand things not being spicy, but the meat might as well have just been boiled in water and plated (no exaggeration). The pros are hand down the portions, price is decent, and the meat wasn’t dry , and that’s to end . Everything looked decent but the taste is just really not edible.

That young lady you guys have serving at the front is rather disrespectful and disgusting, slim and dark complexion, my son and i stopped by there about 30 mins ago and upon entering the restaurant i couldn’t help but notice how she was steering us down with a distasteful look on her face, she started talking to us with attitude and i wanted a meal but i changed my mind because of her rudeness, my son was hungry so i allowed him to order, but never again!! I use to order food from y’all through doordash but had i know that this was the actual behind the scenes customer service then i would discontinue long time ago, i worked to hard for mines to have irrelevant beings looking down on us just because we wanted to patronize.
