We ordered the kids pancakes and a plain waffle with whipped cream on the side. The waffle was very dense and hard to cut, almost like it had been sitting awhile and was reheated. I mentioned it to the server who said only that she would let the kitchen know and we were handed the check. There was no offer to make an adjustment to the bill or to get a manager. At the register we had a look at the “fresh” donuts because I needed to bring one back for a family member. I mentioned the issue with the waffle again at the register. She apologized and gave me the $1.50 donut for free. The donut ended up being just ok…

This is a great spot for breakfast. They have just enough items on the menu to provide options, but my children do not take forever to decide. They offer everything you would expect for breakfast like, eggs, omelettes, pancakes, waffles, and biscuits with gravy. They also have all the sides including fruit and scrapple. The hash browns never disappoint. The service has always been great, every time we visited. They offer indoor and outdoor seating. I recommend the Layton’s on 92nd if you’re in the area.

Food was really good but service was bad. We only saw out waiter twice. She took our order and brought our check. It was difficult to get drink refills. When we sat down I had to wipe our table and seats because they were still dirty.

We were seated fast but the food took close to an hour to come out. It was cold. Pancakes on the dry side. Didn’t give a one star because they were packed. Server didn’t seem to care about the food delay. It is one of the closest places to eat breakfast in the vicinity so go without high expectations.

Always the best breakfast in Ocean city. I’ve never had a bad meal here. This is the main breakfast place every time we visit. Everything is good, priced well, and is served quickly. The country fried steak topped with sausage gravy is fantastic!

Came during lunch. My order was breakfast while those with me had lunch. Everything was good. My eggs were so good. Lots of bacon given and home fries good. We were all happy. Only thing Id recommend is the make sure the ice tea is fresh. It did taste old. Other than that, I was stuffed and it hit the spot!!! Will revisit!
